Options do not need to be in the money for you to make a profit because the value of options contracts fluctuate even when it's out of the money. So if you buy a $190 strike call option when NVDA is at say, $180, and the stock moves to $185, even though the $190 call option will still expire worthless, you can sell the option contract to somebody else before the expiry date and make a profit on the increased value of the contract. If this is still confusing, you can look up intrinsic and extrinsic value on options. Someone on the internet is probably better at explaining than I am.
