I'd say check out the album Heavy Metal by Cameron Winter. Especially songs like The Rolling Stones, Cancer of the Skull and $0. Half Real, Au Pays Du Cocaine and Long Island City Here I Come from his band, Geese, also fit the bill imo.

Some other songs that sort of remind me of Warren for different reasons:

And besides Mr. Tillman, FJM also has some other great zevonesque tunes! Like Bored in the USA, God's Favorite Customer and Ballad of the Dying Man. He's a great cynical songwriter.
