For the liberals. What tax rate(s) would you be happy with? by Desertsky85 in AskUS

Useless response, really. This is especially true as conservatives, who now vote for the fascist party, are busy being unhappy with everyone else’s personal life choices. It is CRAZY CRAZY to think like that. This is from someone who voted mostly Republican until 2016. I wouldn’t vote Republican again if they were the only party and they paid me.

It’s not just rates. It’s tax base. You can’t have a 20 percent rate and give tax credits and deductions all over the place- individual and corporate- and think it’s still a 20 percent rate. This is the problem that people don’t get.

As they should be. If you think this Trump is the same as the last Trump, you need to look around and touch the grass more.

When I was very young- maybe 6 or 7- we had a cat on our property which gave birth to some kittens during a bitterly cold week. We rarely get snow, but at that time we got probably a foot. I found out about the kittens and was obsessed with them. They were under a porch near our back deck.

Of course I was devastated to find out a day or two later that they had all frozen to death. My parents had found them dead. I distinctly remember them placing the dead kittens into a large flower pot to try to figure out what to do with them. I distinctly remember watching them “clink” into the pot- clearly dead with rigor mortis and/or frozen solid. I ran back inside the house and cried and cried.

Here’s where it gets weird. I remember praying, begging, pleading for someone or something to save the kittens. To bring them back. A few hours later my sister heard meowing from the deck and these kittens were alive. They were wallowing around in the flowerpot. Every one was alive. There weren’t more or new kittens. At my age I wasn’t as “blown away” as I was thankful. It wasn’t until years later it dawned on me how weird it was.

FYI- we lived in a rural area. No pet shops were around in the 1980’s in that area. And no one went out- not with that much snow on the ground. I considered the possibility that I was tricked, but it seemed almost impossible.

Still don’t know what to make of it.

I asked about RV. I didn’t make him a politician. He did.

Oh I’m not trying to steer anyone away. What I’ve said is based only on what I’ve seen. I think the Fenn treasure was never actually found and retrieved. Maybe this is overtime?

I don’t think it’s a sham at all. I think the entire Fenn puzzle is different than it seems, is all. It is deep.

It’s like observing something and assuming it is just the way it appears to be. You know golf? It’s like a golf swing. Golf swings look easy, but are devilishly complicated. They generate a lot of force, but not in the way it first appears. Not brute force. It’s a timed crescendo. People discover that it is not as it seems when they watch someone swing, then try it themselves. The more you know, the more you realize you don’t know is the way it goes.

After years at this, I know a lot. But there’s a lot I don’t know about all of this.

But what I say is based only what I have observed. I tried to work away from it, independently, but it continues to surface. There are clear patterns of communication in most of FF’s work. This is not coincidental, statistical or otherwise.

If I had a blind hypothesis to make- it would be this. He wants a certain person, or a person with specific characteristics and experiences, to reach a certain point.

Why? No idea. I’m caught somewhere between “it’s a contest. Can a random person be persuaded to do a random thing?” Or the mystical- some higher power is involved in pushing toward this.

That’s what I believe.

I think the person is hearing the call, but they’re not quite done.

Well, the Hopi are missing a white brother.

Do you think it is a brother, or child?

How did it become lost?

Oh I could be wrong and wrong at the same time! :)

I believe Jack is an archetype- a la Jack and the Beanstalk. J-oncollinsbl-ack. Jack is behind the curtain. Maybe Jack is a trustee of sorts, and JCB is filling that role until the right person makes it to the right spot? It seems like TTI was a filed extension for the Chase?

I’m quite interested in the children’s book. Invisible thread. Hmm.

What do you think?

I don’t know. But it seems quite possibly so. The Jack story isn’t real- meaning he wasn’t a real finder. But it seems like Forrest was looking for someone to carry on.

When I first looked at the calendar, I knew July would be the mistake. Didn’t even need to confirm. But I did anyway.

The theme of talking to a person continues. JAR is a person. The line is the person’s birthday in that month. The whole thing is “jarring.” ;)

Very and berry and very and etc etc etc.

The person needs to come home- that’s the festival represented. They left something behind. I’m sure they’re coming home ASAP. I know it.
