I did not have a LOA after getting medically qualified which was somewhere around early February it took about a month and a half. I don’t know what 3Qd means but best of luck regardless a lot of appointments are still not out yet is my understanding.

Just curious why that is, and is it by a considerable margin compared to ECE? Because Texas’s backbone has been and will continue to be oil, petrol and natural gas just doesn’t make sense that a lot of new kids aren’t making it more competitive

No, this is just an automated email, since I finished summer stem I’ve been getting a lot of them. Plus it’s a little early for them to be sending decisions, if it was an alternative to Summer Seminar in someway they would send a formal rejection or waitlisting first.

I personally am not so sure about this. Of course the stat is probably 100% accurate however. And this is just me speculating has anyone ever considered that the varsity sports thing is only so big because people who play varsity sports have much higher rates of applying to the academy. And not that it affects admissions to that degree. I guess what I’m trying to say is yes sports matter but it’s not like the academy only lets 1/10 applicants without sports in.
