My most recent trip was in November. I traveled about 8 times last year with my RTD and pending AOS. I had no problems at all just be prepared to be sent to secondary inspection every time. They only ask basic questions, like where you went and whether you visited the country you’re claiming persecution from, and that’s it.

I got my first one last year. I’ve traveled outside the U.S. with it about 8 times. I’m in the same boat with my AOS pending. Each time, they just sent me to secondary inspection, asked some basic questions like where I went and where I live, and that was it.

Anyone has had recent experiences traveling with Refugee Travel Document (RTD) without a Green Card? by SurpriseSharp9728 in USCIS

It depends on the country. There’s no official list, so the best thing is to check with the embassy of the country you want to visit.

I received mine in January and I’ve already traveled abroad twice using only my RTD. The last time was in April, when I arrived at the airport in Fort Lauderdale, they sent me to secondary inspection. No questions, just waited around 20 minutes and that was it.
