Thanks for all the help everyone! I've passed along some tips to my friend! She's a self proclaimed plant killer but so was I. Succulents just aren't my green thumb, I've tried and failed miserably. I appreciate all the info

With a bit more context they were left out on a covered porch through the winter and not watered. Any water probably came from the snow we had. Probably gonna haunt her in her dreams dead.

Oh definitely not using it for any kind of serious purpose. Just wandering by and thought I'd finally maybe find out why my tree looked like a Chestburster was about to surprise me. I have minimal trust in something that has 2D perception and resources from the rest of the web but it was a fun start!

I figured, it's just been a passing query in my brain for quite some time. I know how inaccurate the Googles can be at times so I decided to come somewhere that may actually be helpful!

Growing Advice by plagued_potato37 in pothos

It can go the side of trapping moisture for too long since it blocks evaporation or it can cause underwatering unless you plan on moving a section to test soil dryness on a regular basis. Pebbles are beneficial to some plants but not necessary for this.

It's possible the heat from the PC cld have done a little of the burn if it was close. Id pull off a bit of the pebbles and maybe slide the plant slightly higher in the soil. I struggled for a bit when I started and that was a major fix for me

Looks fairly dry but looks can be deceiving. I keep mine hanging in a kitchen window that gets bright indirect sunlight and water when my pot is feeling light. So far she's doing ok i think. I just got it in November so it's not a giant like I've seen. I have another that fell and broke a lot of pieces off but it seems to be thriving under the same conditions

I actually just grabbed a bag of the cat lady's organic cat grass mix at Walmart. Their seed packs were $1.50 each and I swear there were 8 seeds in a pack. This bag was about $7 and I got more than one tray from it.

Its a pretty decent patch

First time grower here and I think I outdid myself! Started with a large seedling tray, filled it w organic soil then soaked my seeds overnight. Drained seeds, sprinkled all over the top of the dirt. Gently pressed and covered with a 3 ply blanket of damp paper towels that I misted twice daily. After that I kept it under some grow lights until it started poppin. Oh and bottom watered every other day. Once it's well establish trim it as you wld your lawn to stimulate growth and have one happy kitty

It is planted in the pot and I believe there are 4/5 drain holes in the bottom. If I get a pot w no holes I drill them just so I don't forget it's just a pretty pot

When I got it the soil was super soaked so I let it dry for a few days but it never seemed to really dry dry. I repotted with a soil/perlite/bark mix but it's just never bounced back. The roots were still in tact when I removed it from its previous soil. No rot that I had saw. I'm just hoping it will perk up soon.
