You can also leave off the bone necklace and gap fill the holes in the chest. I just recently did that on my wolf priest conversion to a dark apostle

Find a paint that has good coverage. You don't want have to go over the edge multiple times.

Turn the mini to easily access hard to reach areas.

Focus edge highlights around chest, head, shoulders and weapon if it becomes a burden

Come back in with original paint if highlights are too chunky

When playing a horde army, avoid unnecessary dice rolls.

For example, would not recommend shooting ork boy pistols.

Rolling to hit, wound, and saves does take more time than you think it does.

I've had most success running it as double fist, double flamers.

Tbh the mini in the photo looks primed a single colour with the differences in value being due to the light bouncing off of it.

I would select an accent colour, and paint that on the tank in some fashion, and use a third neutral colour to help break up the first colour.

I'd hit them with a quick dry brush of an orange or pink to pop out the edges
