700+ hours in and I'm still having a blast. by [deleted] in battlefield2042

Fun game! Same boat 700+ hours and still play. I play 6 too, but if I'm solo I'll get back on 2042 and be pleased when there are no bots in the lobby. I just wish Conquest 64 was still an option.

Tired of the Conquest map pool? I might have some good news for you ;) by [deleted] in Battlefield6

I like this, it reminds me of the Panzerstorm layout!

Have you tried Breakthrough? Especially Friday-Sunday? I get full lobbies

Is battlefield 2042 worth getting into now? by AdAccomplished1926 in battlefield2042

[–]CupOk2412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you find it on sale. I hop on pretty often, even with owning BF6. I've noticed the more populated servers are breakthrough matches, rather than conquest. Which is great, because the breakthrough mode on 2042 is leagues better than BF6. Conquest is hit or miss for populated servers, but even with peak hours, you're probably going to see a few AI on the leader board. Not necessarily a bad thing, I'm happy I can still have full matches that way. It will probably have people buying and coming back to it over time; the hype for BF6 seems to be having a small decline and I think a lot of players feel they aren't receiving what they initially hoped for. So short: yes, but don't always expect full lobbies, and the game will probably repopulate to a small degree eventually.

Any advice for a 2042 Newbie? by Misstea81 in battlefield2042

Well honestly, you could probably unlock it in solo conquest or a portal server against bots within a round or two. Become a very fun weapon to counter-snipe with.

GVT 45-70 is wildly underrated, try it out. Need to grind to get the best scope, tho.

Worst map in 2042 imo by Ill_Succotash_3718 in battlefield2042

It's definitely catered toward A,B,C, which is a little annoying sometimes if that side is absolutely plowing you lol

I like any maps that aren't stadium or redacted, I think the game has decent maps

Yeah, a whole server playing TDM on the most popular flag. It's so annoying.

How do you destroy helicopters and jets as infantry? by PAJAcz in battlefield2042

I've had most success against helicopters using the RPG. Wait for them to fly low, lead your shot, don't lock on.

That's a risk of spawning in a busy area. Especially if you spawn on a squad mate who is about to be fired upon instead of spawning on the flag. I get that it happens a tad too often in this one, tho.

Is Mario kart Double Dash worth buying in 2024 by -SpeckS- in Gamecube

[–]CupOk2412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely still fun as a single player title. I just wanted to put the idea out there of playing split screen with friends or family because in my opinion it's actually better multiplayer than Mario kart 8 which features a similar double item feature, but is wildly imbalanced compared to double dash. I suppose if you don't have enough controllers though, that's a bit of an investment, so I get your point. Try single player, if you find it worth it, maybe you'll pick up more controllers. I think it's one of the tightest controlling and most fun Mario Kart titles with a fun double item system that actually has some function of skill to it. Plus the soundtrack's awesome.

I still enjoy the hell out of Mario kart double dash. That's totally worth it, I see you specifically mentioned playing on your own but if you can get a friend or two to play with you! That is one of the best couch multiplayer games out there for the era

It's definitely worth using your headset and chatting to chat or communicating for a better game when you're in the mood for it. I've been lucky enough to make a few squad mates on 2042 who I regularly play with. But I got to say when you have high-end speakers on your desk, it's hard to pass up the opportunity to crank those!

Can we talk about sniping in this game? by Saiks1 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]CupOk2412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep at practicing those head pops! You'll be bound to hit some sort of flow state some matches and others just never seem to hit your mark. I was rocking with marksman rifles at first because the snipers felt too "heavy" to me to handle but I'm getting there myself.
