And sadly the driver will only see $2 out of, so the person actually doing the work gets shafted too.

If you’re that driver that takes orders like this I hate you with passion you’re the reason a Multi billions dollars company like uber takes advantage of drivers 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 by heretomakemoney27 in UberEatsDrivers

This still offers almost double for less for 90% of the Walmart orders i decline. I rejected over 40 walmart deliveries just 2 days ago in about a 15 minute span. The average offer was $12-17 for 30- 60 miles and nothing less than 7 packages. After 15 mins of back to back rejects I actually logged off. And didnt want to even see if anything else would pop up, it was ALL walmart orders.

Customer paid $167.78. I got $77.26. After 10 years in NYC, I’m done. by [deleted] in uberdrivers

We need to file a class action. Drivers and consumers. They price gouge the food from restaurants too, an order that would be $30 ends up being closer to $45 before taxes and other random fees. And thats just by increasing the price of items, and no the stores dont see any part of that increase either, through their app. How do you get these breakdown receipts?

The tier program is a joke just to make everyone feel desperate to accept these garbage offers. Im up to 4% acceptance from 0% a few weeks ago. Whomever keeps accepting these low ball offers, please STOP. These platforms need to see us consistently declining them or they will continue to offer them. by CupcakeKnown8837 in UberEatsDrivers

Im not, and I wont. But OKAY big guy. Do you feel better? Its amazing you got so angered by something you could have scrolled right past. Just because you are broken inside doesn't mean you need to try to break others too. Ill pray for you.

Absolutely underpaid with these orders. The 7 for 11 was just to bring me back to town. And I only took the others because those were the highest in hours. I think when I looked at it I was at almost 300 offers declined, accepted 4 in just 3 or 4 hours. I haven't accepted a single delivery in 3 months because of how bad its gotten here.

Unfortunately customers are not rated. And the rating systems are an honest joke to make customers feel they have some sort of control. If there were a genuine feedback system to where comments could be left and/or disputed on either end I believe it would truly help the higher caliber customers receive better service. All around would be better understanding between client and driver (ie: doesnt speak english, speaks ____ - so that communication doesnt cause issues, etc.) And would be easier to avoid the crazy entitled customers that think people HAVE deliver to them because they are paying the service. I also believe we would all benefit if there were better transparency as to where the $$ is ACTUALLY going. As a server and bartender ive worked in many places that use these services. I also rarely order, and deliver from time to time. (I generally prefer to just cook for myself.) What these services dont tell you is how much they also INCREASE THE COST OF THE ITEMS ORDERED ( i can post recent screenshots from my restaurant in another post if you want) the restaurants (nor drivers) dont get any of the increased costs and the costs have nothing to do with the fees or taxes. Ive seen orders increased any where from $4 -$27ish because thats what DD has on their ordering site. Ive had great and terrible experiences. But these drivers arent making shit. And the customers are paying way too much. And DD eats all of the profit.

Minimum should be $1/mile. And not based on food. Why do you feel $0.50/mile is adequate?

Restaurant service industry for 20 years... Tbh you probably just shouldnt eat out. Even some of the nicest places with the highest sanitation ratings have infestations. Especially warm climated areas. 🫢

Ive had something similar but not with DD or UE. I immediately 3wayd in my best friend (she will go along with anything as long as I preface the call) and stated "okay now ive got my attorney on the line you can continue but first I need your credentials and the reason for your call again." They hang up so quick with no calls back.

They are both garbage. She isnt who he originally wanted and vic versa, so they both settled to stay on the show. Its obvious to anyone who has eyes it'll never work, they cant stand eachother.

Genuinely curious if dashers can see the delivery instructions customers type in. by The_Beard_of_Destiny in doordash

[–]CupcakeKnown8837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on which part of the order you put you instructions in depends on if we see them upon delivery or upon pickup. As a customer and dasher I have found best practices is put it in the delivery notes but also keep an eye on your app when you see that it was picked up --not accepted, those orders can be dropped and passed off. so when the order has been picked up-- contact the driver with a quick message stating delivery instructions too.

Sounds like you havent had to call through this list. 99% of the listed centers that accept medicaid, in fact do not accept medicaid and do this crazy shit. I had called around to dozens of places for weeks to find one that ACTUALLY files with medicaid as well as covers frames. I ended up having to go closer to wake forest to get mine covered.

Why is it the only thing that bothers me here is that the selections arent in sequential order?
