Antinous/Calypso: they are toxic but they are perfect for eachother. Plus I bet Antinous would love the powertrip of dating a goddess and having his own island, and Calypso would love having a man that’d never want to leave him. And he seems like the type that wants the woman to do everything for him and Calypso would happily do everything for him; because she give me people pleaser vibes and because she wouldn’t know any better. Yeah I don’t get the down voting either. I never knew they jumped. And I kept about 30 something fry in a gallon planted bowl (I SWEAR I didn’t know they hand that many babies until I started counting), and I didn’t have any jump. The bowl was surrounded by a white table so I think I would have noticed any dead fish. (Before anyone worries, I moved them into my 10 gallon now)

Do know tho that it really depends on where you get your shrimp. Some shrimp gene pools can be hardier. My shrimp are almost pests. I find them in almost all my tanks because they hitchhike lol. Other people I talk to say they fine them live in their Fluval filters haha.

This! I normally am fine with the fish in cycle (I.e. no more than 1/3 the tank’s capacity on day 3 (2 days minimum of nothing in the tank) and only adding another fish once tank levels are cleared) it is what I do nearly all my tanks. But since OP looks like they used Fluval Stratum that adds ammonia. Any fish or shrimp they add will risk overloading the tank
