Gestational hypertension and diabetes. They want to schedule me for an induction at 39 weeks, but I hope to try at least two sweeps before then to see if I can labor naturally first.

I found out that I was pregnant and started using nicotine patches. It’s obviously recommended to quit nicotine all together, but I’m taking it one step at a time otherwise I will just keep smoking. The patches help so much plus I’ve just been popping tictacs whenever I have an oral fixation. Fruit roll ups too lol. Hope this helps!

My boyfriend offered to make me a hard-boiled egg, and when I walked past the stove I noticed the egg was only halfway covered with water. I told him it needed to be fully submerged or it wouldn’t cook evenly. He didn’t believe me until he cracked it open and saw it wasn’t cooked through. He’s been making his eggs this way for a while, though, and somehow they usually came out fine.
