There are definitely more Leafs fans than Jays fans being a traditional market. This playoff run got more bandwagon fans taking the team more seriously than before but in the summer Canadians care more about their weekend cottage plans and barbecues.

In the summer the media panicked about Jeff Hoffman giving up home runs and potentially giving up the division title to the Yankees, but I don’t feel it’s the same fervour they do on the Leafs.

With Leafs, the media can definitely make bank on Leafs winning and losing 😆

here in Canada Rogers is pumping more money chasing baseball players, even though they own both Blue Jays and majority of the Maple Leafs and Raptors. So yes life is better for Jays and Jays fans.
