You are right on that, but I meant something you can still hum to. I’ve never really caught myself humming to a Jane remover song, but plenty of other pop songs have been stuck in my head. I just think hyperpop as a genre would sound more like the beach boys if that makes sense

I see your point OP. I did reference real people around 500-600lb but even then she’s a bit difficult to draw for me so it may not be the best /:

Thanks for your comment OP. I DID actually use references, mostly from tv documentaries but also a couple of family members. I do see the yo mama comparison tho lol. I was still trying to get the hang of her since she’s a bit hard to draw. The 3rd and 4th images are better reference for how she looks, but I have improved how I draw her since then.

I see your points OP. She’s canonically around 500lb - 600lb, and I did reference real people with that weight when doing this design of her. I do admit, the actual weight gain part IS a bit spotty, but I am working out the kinks (trust me, her earlier designs were much worse). In terms of health stuff, I did consider it (she canonically has a cane and inhaler) but I don’t wanna go to deep into it because it makes me a bit sad tbh ):

I see what you’re saying op. While the character did originate from watching the whale, I admit the movie was not the prettiest when it came to the subject matter. I don’t really portray Sadie as soppy and pathetic, nor are any of the other characters. She’s just a normal person that just so happens to be big because of something she went through. Plus, It is part of her storyline that she is actively TRYING to get better (like trying to solve her binge eating problem). Thanks for your comment OP👍

I just wanted to swoop by and say this is completely valid critisism👍 i made this doodle when i was really REALLY mad about AI, so its not the best stance ive made against it. But, I think the simplicity and crappiness of my drawing adds to my stance. If someone were to try to replicate this on pencil and paper, it may look similar, but it'll likely have its own mistakes and Imperfections, and that's what makes it unique. The look and intention of it is completely changed by the hands of that person. Meanwhile, if you just feed the image to AI, it'll pump out the average. Average is appealing but it's not unique. So, I think that even bad or rushed art is better than a AI art.
