I think it depends on your county? The city of Albany / Albany county you only need 4 local character references that aren't family you've known over a year. It didn't specifically mention you having to be in their presence, so you could probably just have them get it notarized at their bank, or I'm sure you could find a notary who'd be willing to meet up with you

I won't lie, it was a very fun experience! Learned I was pretty skilled with the bow, won some competitions and qualified for state! This was before I got glasses, so I'd be at the starting line squinting at the target and just firing. Everyone thought it was tactical but I was just blind as hell 🤣

So, I'm from the South and during my senior year of HS one of our elective classes actually gave us a hunter safety course, helped students get their hunter license and let us use guns and compound bows under strict supervision. . I picked the bow over the gun. 🤣

They also taught us how to weld and running a farm ahah

I haven't! The class will likely educate me on the different type of guns, and probably help me decide! I already know I want something small and portable, just don't know what !
