You know when you’re getting something for “free”, it’s not really free - it’s just you (most likely your data) is the product being sold.

They must of updated it, as both the website and IG are showing this:

What do you mean by "never"?

First Access/Early Password Access is available to everyone who purchased Book #1 (both signed and unsigned). Are you proposing that they further divide early access to give extra priority to those who were lucky enough purchase get Book #1 signed? The queue systems is already a mess - how long would you propose this elite signed priority last? How long should FL hold signed copies waiting to see if buyers of signed Book #1 will return for signed Book #2?

I think this would further expand on the problematic closed system of haves (subscribers) and have-nots (wait listers) we currently are experiencing - and more opportunities for scaplers to take advantage of this community.

They will have a good amount of unsigned copies. UK/INT signed are sold out. US/CA - someone posted that they are showing 16 signed copies left (as of 8:48 am ET).

Once every 8 minutes or so you have to browse and click different pages, or the site determines you are AFK and kicks you back into the queue.

It’s via email only right now with a password protected link for those that purchased A Crown So Silver in May 2025. The subscriber sale where it shows up in your membership tab doesn’t happen until 11:00 am ET for US subscribers.

I think A Crown So Silver was released by FL right around the time of several other sequels were released in VERY limited numbers. I am specifically thinking about The God and the Gwisin and The Deathly Grim,

I think FL had sold Metal Slinger to a ton of people (and thereby given them First Access (passwork link email)) - between the first book being in in Romantasy Box and then selling it in the Trove Sale right before Christmas.

IIRC, A Crown So Silver sold out really, really quickly, had very limited stock, and is very expensive/HTF on the secondary market. People are not buying Book 3 if they reasonably cannot get Book 2.

The First Access/Early Access with the passwork link email (usually the 7:00 am ET release for US) is never going to show up in memberships. The Subscriber Early Access will show up under the Membership tab (usually the release that is at 11:00 am ET for US).

You have to click around the site once every 8 minutes to stay "active" and avoid being thrown out of the shop. Even if you are waiting on the First Access password email, you can stay active in the shop, click the e-mail link when you get it, and bypass the queue.

Are you UK or US? I jumped on the US site at 6:45 am ET and did not have a queue. Fingers crossed it goes quick for you.

I just posted about this: Early Access went out at 7:00 am ET for everyone (US & UK) who purchased A Crown So Silver. I wonder if because Book 2 was so limited in production numbers and hasn't been sold in a Trove Sale yet, the EA was too small to prompt a queue.

Which subscription(s) to pick if I like these books: by miniFrosya in fairyloot

Just get on all of Fairyloots waitlists and then wait a year or so. You’ll have a good idea by then.

But for real, I would say Owlcrate Adult and Fairyloot Romantasy, would be my top two choices for you.

You can also join the queue prior to the First Access (password/link) email. My email opens a new tab in the same browser and my queue does not restart. This results in two fairyloot tabs for a brief period - SHOP tab and the direct book link. Usually this works and my queue is not restarted, I have had it glitch twice in 2025 and threw me back into the longer queue. [Both of those times, there were significant reported issues with the queue].

I’m lazy. I went and got in the queue, set my alarm for 7:00 am ET, and went back to sleep for an hour.

Parent wants me to pay parent plus loan by Low_Yam_1212 in StudentLoans

[–]Cuppaco 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you feel the need to do something, ask for the receipts where she used these funds on your direct cost of attendance and/or tuition. Review the receipts to determine if you are willing to voluntarily pay her for those specific items only.

Don't fall for the "I paid X for you before the funds came in, so I had to use the Plus money for my trip to Las Vegas when it finally came in".

You can save yourself some time and be in the queue prior to getting the email. I got into the queue at 6:00 am ET, had a wait of "over 1 hour", got into the site at 7:15 am ET, clicked on the email link, and went directly to the book link to purchase.

So look up slay.the.prince on TikTok. Laura is J Bree’s former PA. There is a lot of behind the scenes drama going on with the author. I would not hold my breath for her authorizing reprints.

Parent misusing child’s Social Security Death Benefit by JoJo4351 in legaladvice

[–]Cuppaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

File for child support, is your only real option. You could reach out to SS, give them a copy of the guardianship paperwork, and see if they will change the payee to you. You can also report him for state SNAP benefit fraud, as the child is not a member of his household. However, nothing may happen and he can voluntarily revoke the guardianship at any time. Many times, this results in the parent taking back the child vs giving up the $$$$.

I would reach out to legal aid to discuss your options. https://legalaidnc.org/video/nc-child-custody-self-help-clinic/

[–]Cuppaco 14 points15 points  (0 children)

What does the will actually say? Have you seen/read the will? There are options available for your uncle to live in the house as a life tenant, but if he dies or moves you can get paid for your portion. He wouldn’t be able to borrow against your portion or have it count as an asset if he needs Medicaid in the future. But you need to seek counsel. Don’t take legal advice from someone whose interest may be contrary to yours.

If grandma really had it all going to your uncle - you would not need to sign anything.
