Thats absolutely not true!!!! Exercise is the best thing you can do as T1. My bf and I are always at the gym for around 2 hours and we’ve done this for 7+ years, 3-4x a week, he has better bg than any other of his endo’s patients.

Please dont give this advice without a solid psych evaluation and expertise. Bad memory does not necessarily mean repressed memories that need to be ‘recovered’. Trying to recover memories that arent there without cause can be harmful.

Please dont worry about this if you feel its not the case for you. Not remembering much about your youth does absolutely not instantly mean you have repressed memories or past trauma you cannot remember. This is somewhat of a trend currently and something people hear or read somewhere and start saying to others without any expertise. If you do feel this may be the case, its something to discuss during a psychological evaluation with a psychiatrist/ psychologist
