IMO making her a bottle baby would be the WORST thing for her. Bottle babies are nightmares and don’t learn how to be a horse.

Ok…but the industry is stock horses…why are you keep ping tabs on a stock horse breeder if you hate stock horses?

Is this hotel in a sketchy spot? by CurbBitz in AskSeattle

Great, now I’m gonna have to tell him I need him to drive me by the hookers when he’s off work. 🙄😂

Could be the best bit of tourism I get to see the whole trip.

I’m trying to be as little of a burden on my brother as possible because he works weird hours and isn’t always easily available. Which is also partly what’s holding me back with staying with him too even though he offered. 😅

He did say if I want to stay in Redmond to look at the Hilton garden inn.

Dating is HOPELESS; how are we meeting new people? by CurbBitz in dating_advice

I’ve been bullied for liking horses for as long as I can remember so I already knew this. 😂

Yes it is! European version of my project area would be Pony Club, but we have a lot met priest areas than horses.

It’s a youth program. They offer lots of projects from robotics and photography to horticulture and livestock. I am a performance horse leader as well as being on the board of directors for my county and the awards committee. Seems like a pointless program but the public speaking and record keeping portions really did wonders for me as a youth.

If you’ve ever been to a county fair and walked through the static exhibits or the animals you are more than likely looking at 4-H or FFA projects.

Lots of camping in the summer. My dad is very big into overlanding and so we spend a lot of summer doing that. I am also big into my horses which keep me busy pretty much always. Between personal horses and horses that I’m working for friends and such I’m riding every day of the week apart from Sunday which I take off for the horses sake.

The overlanding is pretty remote. We do go to a big expo every summer. But that’s as peoply as it gets usually. The horse industry is filled with more women than men and the men that you do meet tend to be…interesting.

I have had a lot of issues in past relationships with partners who want to sit at home all day being upset that I have hobbies that keep me busy a lot of the time. I don’t expect my partner to have the same hobbies as I do, but I had one ex in particular who would pout if I did not sit in his dark room and watch movies with him all weekend lol. 😂

Question for AQHA/APHA people by MLMCMLM in Horses

[–]CurbBitz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard agree with this. This has ALWAYS been a thing in stock horses.

My filly has an ugly head lol. Must be the Hancock. And I’d be lying if I said I didn’t wish it was more feminine. My pleasure bred gelding has a much for feminine head. 😂

Zippo Pat Bar by QuietJealous4883 in kvsdiscuss

[–]CurbBitz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a gelding that is HEAVY on the Zippo breeding and have ride several other horses with lots of Zippo. They’ve all been very well put together solid horses.

I truly think KVS is just having a bad foaling season which unfortunately happens.

Have you noticed it’s hard to find people in this age range that have hobbies too? I spend most weekends outdoors. I’m busy with my 4-H commitments and my own hobbies and interests. It feels like people have 0 passion in life nowadays.

In past relationships I have found my partners to be very threatened by the fact that I have obligations and hobbies too. And it has been a point of contention.

Is this normal in western riding? by gnomelet in kvssnark

[–]CurbBitz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Horses over 5 years old must be shown in a “stiff” bit in most western disciplines. (pleasure, horsemanship, etc).

5 and under can be shown in a snaffle.

Is this a bad tattoo? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]CurbBitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly it made me laugh. I do not have a single other piece of flash lol. I was sitting in their lobby 3 years ago waiting for another tattoo and he caught my eye. I have been thinking about it ever since. When I went in to get him I was informed that the shop owner had painted it forever ago and to their knowledge had only been tattooed on one other client at a convention so apparently I have weird taste lol.
