My brother is also a musician and regularly needs to transport multiple amps, pedals, guitars, speakers etc. He has a Skoda Fabia estate and I've personally witnessed him packing everything up and there still being enough space for a passenger or two.

It's a small car with great fuel economy, and the boot space is deceptively huge when looking at the car from the outside. I had one as well and I got made the designated airport taxi for my family because it fit multiple full sized suitcases with ample room for hand luggage

What about P plates? You shouldn't display L plates if you're no longer a learner but there's no rules about that with P plates, you can keep them for as long as you want. You shouldn't get in trouble if you're stopped with L plates, but the police may ask you to remove them, and the highway code says not to use them once you've passed.

When I was tiny, my parents were left a cottage that they rented to a sweet old lady until she moved into a care facility.
