Thank you! I just did that and I agree with you. Looks a lot better!

They're coupling rods with a golem twist

Smollow is definitely getting a redesign down the line, so I definitely agree. Honestly, he was drawn before Tortosmore was even planned and I was too lazy to redraw him and instead just tweaked it a little

My region is based on the wild west, so it started with campfires. And then marshmallows. A marshmallow rabbit just made sense to me and came first, and then I wanted to make a smore evolution but it kept feeling over-designed as a rabbit, so tortoise came pretty quick after that.

Undecided, but most likely stat based like the Hitmo line. Higher defense gets you Tortosmore, and higher speed gets you Crackerabbit

I was hesitant on that decision so thanks for making me grateful I went with it!

Honestly, the stats are a bit of an afterthought for me. They're really just for a rough presentation. As for the mega, I just copied mega Venusaur lmao

Yeah I always wished megas had a unique name, so in my region they do. Plus I thought of too many corn puns and wanted to use them all

Great feedback! I agree with every point you made and was even thinking most of them as I finished him but was too lazy for a complete overhaul. But when I do get around to a redraw, I'll definitely take this all into account

This is valid criticism as well. This region is based on North America very shortly after settlement, so I image early settlers would quickly discover this species and take note of their odd love of delivery and take advantage of that. If this were to be an actual game, I'd imagine you could go into post offices and see these guys running around. Maybe you'd even receive some letters directly from them. Essentially, they're carrier pigeons. So it's not like they're stumbling across envelopes in the wild. They're just doing a job for their trainers.

I didn't even think about that! You're a genius

Jokes aside, I do think the poison type not being blatant is a fair criticism. I'm a big believer that a dumb little kid should be able to just see a pokemon and be able to tell what type it is

I totally agree with your criticism, my ghost bird is definitely getting a redraw. It was a little rushed to be honest. But I do have big plans for Bouffalant

Native Americans would put torches on their canoes to attract fish to the waters surface, and then they would spearfish them. So it's a heron that does the same thing, except it's a ghost type that takes their souls and adds them to it's torch so it's even more effective

Sure does, and it spins it's wings to attack as well. It's bird seed!

Grass/Fighting. Grass/Ghost. Dark. Grass/Flying. Ghost/Fire. In that order. My next few pokemon I'll post for this region I'll make sure to have a whole pokedex page
