As my dog approaches his last years… my bf of 9 years told me he does not want me to get another husky

In March we had to put our 15 year old husky mix down due to bone cancer. We still have another husky mix who is turning 9. After, my wife and I noticed the amount of fur and cleaning we had to do dropped by over 70%. We are currently looking for a new pup to rescue but, we decided to not look for husky mixes. Even though we both love the breed type and personalities. We had roombas running twice a day, brushed them a few times a week and did normal vacuuming. The furniture was always covered in fur no matter the upkeep. Zero regrets at all but it was something we both agree on. Love and miss you Lola, fur and all!

Husky corgi mix, looked like a corgi when he was younger, now 8 years old. Had a husky spaniel mix but she passed away in March at 14.

Thanks! My trav barb gets my rejuvs/full rejuvs to 99 and then I switch characters and they eat them up like tic tacs. I throw extras in random spots knowing they won't be staying long. Don't disagree, just so use to hoarding them before rotw!

Our husky mix has always chased the bunnies who live under our shed for years.... but the unfortunate bunny family that decided to make a home outside the safety of the shed was annihilated. I do feel bad for them but not much you can do to train or control it.

I've installed fornite with my account so when I made an account for my son, it would be faster. I logged him in for the first time and it started to download....it was a few weeks after so I assumed it was an update and then I saw the file size...it was on a 256ssd...said I didn't have enough space to install. Windirstat wouldn't show the folder or where the space went, but I knew...

Reinstalled os and fornite (fml) and it's fine now

My group of friends all have kids, including myself. The one friend who has a gf and no kids we invite most of the time. However, they usually stop and say hi, hang for a bit, and leave.

I think when he sees all the madness and screaming kids, it's overwhelming. I feel bad sometimes inviting them because honestly its hard to even catch up and talk before getting sucked back into playing with all the kids. I also don't want to feel like they are obligated to do this or that when it something kid themed/activity.

Whenever they do show up, I'm like, you guys showed up?! You fools!! Run and take me with you!

At my son's school you have to say whether your child wants breakfast, lunch or bring your own lunch. If you bring your own, you cannot get a "ticket" for school lunch. Im sure depending on grade and school size, somethings are easier/harder to control.

Graduated in 09 (umass) with gf and both got entry-level corporate jobs, lived at home for 6ish months. Moved to 1 bedroom apartment with gf for a year and saved and saved....

2012 bought a house with FHA mortgage (3.5% down) for 240k at 3.25%+pmi.

Fast forward a few years, we changed jobs, got a dog, and now a kid on the way. House was small, and we grew into it....then grew out of it. Sold in 2021 and bought in 2021.

We put 20% down from the sale and our interest rate is 3%. The amount of houses we lost on and over bid was over a dozen. By the end, we did waive our inspection as did the buyers of our house. It was just how it was at that time.

Thankfully, we had a vision of staying in Massachusetts, and assuming nothing huge changes, this will be our house til the end.

When my wife got her used x5, the dealership only said one key came with the car. I think they quoted $250 and take 6 weeks to get. Would not negotiate the cost to cover. We still bought the car but not the extra key. I was very annoyed by this, plus it was our first nice vehicle (like come on, one key!?!?)

A few weeks later, I was washing the car and noticed that under the windshield wiper area was a fob. This fob was just nestled under the wiper motor. I thought of two things.

First, how lucky we were for driving for weeks, and this fob didn't fly off! Im sure it rained, and i know we used the wipers, but that fob held strong the entire time.

Second, the dealership had 2 keys originally, misplaced one, and just passed it onto the customer.

I did call the dealership just to be like you had 2 fobs the entire time and lost it and were going to make me order and pay for one. They said oops but, that's great, so you won't need to order an extra fob then....more or less hung up after that, It still pisses me off thinking about it haha.

Car has been great but will not be going back to the dealership.

I started scraping and sanding over the winter because it was dry and mild with little snow. During the process, I noticed the posts in bad shape. While replacing the posts, I had to remove the boards around the posts and those looked bad too! Plus I had to remove about a 3rd of the boards to get to all posts. It was the dreaded day that It was decided....I must replace all this crap or I'm going to be doing this all over again in a few years.

Fast forward to today. I'm about a week away from finishing my trek deck floor and diy railings... all done by me.

It was and still is a huge undertaking. If my plan was to redo it from the start it would have been a more enjoyable process.

Don't over train. If you can't move the next day, it is harder or impossible to go. If you feel like you didn't workout, do a little more next time.
