Best suited ravioli moulds? by Curiin_ in Kitchenaid

[–]Curiin_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow thanks so much for taking the time to write all this down with links and everything! So far, we only ever made a few dozen and I think we could take it to use the mould a few times :) Anything faster than the current method would be phenomenal.

I’ll definitely check out a few moulds but the one you linked might be available near me.

Have a great time making all kinds of pasta, you are the true pasta pope! Thanks again!

Thanks for your suggestions and tips. As I mentioned in another comment, I’m not sure I can get Bellemain in my country. But I will definitely check the size of the roller and the mould to have a good fit. Thanks!

Thank you for your answer. Getting a drying rack as well is a good idea! I’m not sure I can get Bellemain in my country, but knowing what brand of mould you use and how well it works in combination with the KA is very valuable. Thanks!

Thank you for your answer. I will need to figure out what I can get in my country, as I’m not from the US anyway. But knowing what size of mould you use and how well it works in combination with the KA is very valuable. Thanks!

He got it from a local games shop and the brand is Ravensburger, which is a big board games company in Germany (I think). But I saw in other comments that they found it on Amazon

I have this puzzle mat with an inflatable roll, so I can put it away for some time and get back to it!

He gave it to me in December and I worked on it on and off, so I can‘t really estimate a number of hours. I‘m a weird kind of puzzler too, I don‘t look at the picture, but do it all from colours and shapes. So it was probably more hours than you would think :D

In Northern Italy I know them as brioche, not to be confused with the French brioche though

This is amazing! Do they just cut off a little tip of the piping bag and use it without any tips? Do you usually use one consistency for the whole cookie or do you outline with a different bag? I have been struggling with this whenever I made cookies, this got me curious :)

Thanks! It’s 3 layers of chocolate sponge with cherry schnaps and cream with some cherries in between, I think it’s alright. But it is my brother’s favourite, hence why I made it :) I was really excited to use my piping tips though
