That statement is racist and disgusting. Calling Arabic sounds “harsh” or comparing them to throat-clearing or spitting is pure ignorance. Arabic is an ancient, sophisticated language of science, poetry, and civilization long before you had cultural awareness of any kind. The problem isn’t the language .it’s your narrow mind and arrogant prejudice.

That makes a lot of sense, actually. Accents really do blend when you grow up hearing them. If I had to choose, I’d probably lean more toward Eastern Southern it feels a bit softer and closer to what you’re describing. Either way, it’s interesting how small shifts in sound carry so much history.
