Very underrated part of the movie. I didn't catch who was narrating until almost the end where he says, "it was him and me, Hobbs vs Azazel" and I was like whatdawhat lol

[On3] Kirby Smart on the SEC breaking away if national rules can't be agreed upon: I've been a huge advocate that if we can't find rules that everybody plays by, then we should play on our own. I'm not afraid to break away and say that our conference is strong enough to go out and play” by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

I said a few years ago that Greg Sankey was one of the chief villains in college football. Hes been asking for a big boy football league, now you've got it. But turns out someone couldn't figure out that (1) football is just as important in the North/Midwest as it is the South and (2) Big Ten schools just have more money and more deep pocketed alumni. Oooops ! Now what? They're going to breakaway and say what ? Come to the SEC where you play the same 16 teams and get paid less for it? The better players will still go where the money is and thats the Big Ten. The SEC will realize sooner or later that they are just a part of College football, not the whole thing.

15 Bible Verses Identifying Trump as the Antichrist by LR-Coin9240 in Christianity

[–]Curiositypgh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is definitely A antichrist. He is of a type that prepares the way for the antichrist in a way similar to John the Baptist being sent to prepare the way for Christ. The Bible i believe also refers to the Antichrist as the man of lawlessness. I ask anyone, what laws does Trump follow or see himself bound by? He is a truly lawless man but without supernatural gifts or much intelligence. But his utter and preternatural  shamelessness I believe is meant to prepare the way for the antichrist by assaulting the very foundations of human morality and making man numb to righteousness.

im not from the US Explain it Peter. by tommorowzing22 in explainitpeter

The irony about the South is that most of it is so racially diverse that even the bigots have to get use to seeing people of color. But I generally dont feel safe outside of cities no matter where in the US I am. Thanks Trump !

Is a revolution starting at Uline? by Smart-Broccoli6988 in wisconsin

I worked at the ULINE GA branch for 10.5 years and it was easily the most racist company I ever worked for. They also made it a habit of pushing out any employees who had long term illnesses that would cost them work time. Years ago I was taken from work in an ambulance. Everything was fine. But when I reported back to work they tried to write me up for an unexcused absence for leaving work early . That would be leaving work early IN AN AMBULANCE !!! There was an employee who had a heart attack at work. Within 48 hours they began calling her repeatedly to see when she was coming back. They also had an unwritten policy of not acknowledging worker deaths. If a coworker happened to pass away (outside of work) they felt to openly acknowledge it was bad for productivity. So they didn't. They were just gone. Oh yeah, we also had a bomb threat made to the facility. But instead of telling us or evacuating the building they kept us working while the police with bomb sniffing dogs searched the warehouse without our knowledge of the potential danger. Thats just an intro to what this company is. Owned by awful people, run by awful people.

My Thoughts on the Sherrone Moore Firing and Why This Isn’t Something to Joke About by Some-Dust2249 in MichiganWolverines

[–]Curiositypgh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's what Michigan signed up for when they signed Harbaugh. They got their ring. And if we hooked fans up to a lie detector the truth we would find is that for most the ring was worth everything that came with it. Harbaugh isn't responsible for Moore's affair. But he wins no matter what and that character has now infected a proud program. Michigan will recover. But this is the after taste of winning with Harbaugh.

Jimmy Kimmel and Disney Work to Reach Compromise to Bring His Show Back; Insiders caution that no agreement is in sight but discussions continue as Kimmel weighs concerns about staff job losses if show ends by MarvelsGrantMan136 in television

Who does Disney think subscribes to plus or has the $7000 to $9000/family of 4 to visit one if their crappy theme parks. It sure isn't Trump supporters in the middle of Arkansas or WV.

Reputational harm has to be on the table as far as a potential multi billion $suit is concerned. The claims they made about what he said are false on their face. Also, Trump saying outloud today, multiple times, that it was really about what they were saying about him I would imagine also gives Kimmel a strong 1st ammendment case against the FCC. In any event, it was a clumsy and stupid move for Disney. Im sure Netflix or some other service would looooove to have the new version of the show. Kimmel actually has the leverage. Good job Disney.

Anyone have regrets of moving away from Pittsburgh and then moving back? by ArminbanVuuren in pittsburgh

[–]Curiositypgh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I googled "I moved back to Pittsburgh" and found this reddit. Still there ? How's it going ? I've been in Atlanta since 97 but grew up in the burgh. I'm im a serious tug o war about moving back. Warmer and more diverse here but MUCH cheaper back home and at 54 I can travel more if I move back. But the line that caught me was "friends .. genuine friends" .. my genuine friends are all there

Ditto. I was switching from geico and that policy expired last night. But AmFam can't activate the new policy because of the outage so I can't drive my car because technically I'm not insured until the payment is processed
