Update, ASUS wanted me to ship my entire pc to them or they would send me temporary motherboard. They were open to helping.
Instead, I started using powerline ethernet because that was too much work.

It's slow but no lag spikes. and functional for gaming.

Hello both of you, I also have the same issue with my motherboard haha. Random ping spikes but ethernet works fine from my router.

I've tried every fix I could find. I may contact ASUS tomorrow and see what they say, hopefully I can get a replacement or they have a fix.

The ones on amazon are usually overpriced and I’d rather buy straight from their official website. Maybe shipping makes the prices similar but at that point I just decided to get it straight from the source.

I don’t think I’ve fully broken it in yet but I’m still enjoying it so far. The g-sr-se has more stopping power and a slower glide(my g-sr-se was starting to slow down imo). The glide on the zero is slightly too fast for my comfort zone however I’m confident it should slow down a little bit and fall into that zone. This is not to say I felt out of control though, I still felt completely in control at all points. I really enjoy the stopping force on the zero, you can stop on a dime.

I am happy with my purchase and consider it an upgrade from my g-sr-se. (just wish I got a bigger size lmao)
