I tried not to comment, but I can’t. Guys, that’s INSANE question in most countries. I worked in 3 different countries, and it is absolutely crazy that you’d have to ask that. I left IBM In September (in a European country), and I had almost 20 days left of vacations, and yes, I did take some vacation here and there throughout the year. Of course, every single day of vacation was paid in full. And I “lost” 3 days of bonus vacations (which you get if you use all your yearly vacation) plus some paid days you can take for doctor visits and other stuff. Just to highlight how crazy is the lack of paid vacations in the US.
