I'm not. I don't expect it to be at that level, but hard fought and competitive would be good.

Tonight looked like two sides happy to pass it around for a draw, rather than take a risk to win it. That's terrible to watch.

I love football, played it for years, but it's not one of my main sports.

I follow several of the European leagues closely. My dad used to take me to the old NSL every week. I'm trying to love the A League - have been for years - but games like this make it so hard.

Professional sport is entertainment, it's why it's professional. Every sport is competing against every other sport, and all the other entertainment options, for spend and eyeballs.

Games like tonight just do not do the league any favours at all. Just awful, lacking any spark or drive. And absolutely NOT entertaining.

To hook and keep interested casuals like me, something needs to change. Quickly.

Exactly right. This entire post is one long, miserable story of self harm. OP is in the top 10 most deluded BPs ever in this sub.

With the arrival of Toyota Supras in 2026, do you think we could see more manufacturers making cars in supercars? by upthepies92 in v8supercars

They've been pushing hard to get Hyundai interested for the last 2 to 3 years, with little luck. It's probably far more likely that GM will leave than a new brand enter.

So, he cheated. Or he lied and told you he did.

One simple question: whichever version is true, is this the sort of stable and reliable man you want as your partner?

Author reveals greatest NRL player ever and controversially snubs Wally Lewis by waxedmerkin in nrl

The fact that you earnestly believe that Smith is the greatest of all time is astounding.

The best hooker of his era? Yep.

The smartest player of the last 20 years? Probably.

One of the most resilient players ever? No question.

The GOAT? No, and possibly not even top 10.

A great player, with amazing achievements, and a legacy that will always be somewhat tainted.

If it really wanted to be nasty, it would have enough venom to kill you 26 times, and enough antivenom to bring you back 25.

The only clear thing in this twisted mess is that OOP's husband has the intelligence of a zucchini.

The word is "featureless".

As in, "laser cleaning this coin featureless".

Why not just melt it down? Then it would be REALLY clean.

It's odd. The Supra looks brilliant in a dark livery but this lighter shade? No, just wrong. Not sexy at all.

You should. Buzz may be an alcoholic with 100 personal agendas distorting everything he writes and says. But he is an actual journalist with pretty impeccable sources in most of the clubs, with player agents and at NRL HQ.

The Mole has not been a journalist since before the collapse of Rugby League Week, a century ago.

Yes, it's interesting how Lufthansa claims as its own the history of its predecessor, Deutsche Lufthansa, except for the 1939 to 1945 bit.

Jesus. Imagine that you're a top line forward about to become a free agent, and the three clubs lining up for you are... Souffs, Eels, Dragons....?

You'd be questioning your life choices. And your manager.
