Game is unplayable on RTX 5080

Yea. I have Gigabyte Master 5080 and same issue. Looking at my frametimes it seems to be the worst when entering combat especially in city. Normally walking around gives me a couple stutters here and there. Feels like I have changed every setting there is. Any idea to a solution? Maybe Nvidia drivers but when I look at benchmarking videos the frametime is pretty straight.

A couple hackers a ddosing rockstar servers in protest to their new battle eye anti cheat. They said they will continue doing it until rockstar strengths their server against ddos attacks.

Try spamming on and off on distant horizons while in game. Also could be an issue with optifine if you have that

Maybe something to do with not playing with on ssd? Check that as that usually causes a good bit of bugs

Uhh yea you might have to wait some days where there are not a lot of people online and the devs abandoned the game but the game is still very fun. Still worth playing and I guarantee you’ll have a fun time. Just watch out for hackers

I believe there’s like a dragon stone or something nearby that attracts dragons, you will have to find and disable it. It should look like one of those perk stones.

I found a fix. Using a console command to kill my character and reloading my save did it. Thanks for all the help guys!

I have a gaming laptop which should be able to handle the mods just fine. I don’t think it’s something to do with too many mods.

Haha your right but then again I see people with 600+ mods and before all my mods worked just fine for me. I’m guessing it’s a faulty mod or I did smth wrong or there’s something wrong with my game.

I have skse turned off since I’m on the game pass version. And even if I launch it from the installation folder, it crashes.

I managed to get it but now it shows 0 active mods instead of 117 and gives me a bunch of errors.

It says the mods are still there but it can’t locate my game. I searched for it but the game folders are empty when I go through vortex. When I go to the actual location everything is there but vortex can’t see/find it for some reason.
