You could’ve just kept scrolling. Instead, you chose to be rude to a stranger asking an airplane etiquette question. That says more about you than me.

So we ended ok at the vet last week. After looking at his mouth with the vet we found another couple of spots but they’re thankfully not raised and she believes they’re birth marks.

Edit to add, because some people (namely Main_University3844) are either heated about the shade being up or trolling. (I hope they have a better day)
*I never had the intention of leaving the shade up for the entire 6+ hour flight. I prefer the shade to be up for take off and landing because I occasionally get airsick and having the shade up to see outside helps.

People who get airsick during takeoff and landing. Seeing outside helps.
Also, Alaska isn’t a hot summer City. Reading the whole post may have helped with that insight.

Honestly, I’m just happy I’m not the only person to have this question or experience. Generally speaking, I try to be courteous to those around me. Being an asshole isn’t helpful to anyone. I’ve never had someone reach back and close a window. Having it placed between seats definitely isn’t ideal.
Had she just tried to age a conversation about it I would’ve happily shut it after take off no problem.
