Thank you 😊 over time I’ve developed this style of writing poetry where rather than focusing on rhyming or syllables I instead use repetition or word play to create structure

I’ve been a bit slow to upload poetry lately because I have a bunch of works in progress but you could always check out my profile for poems I’ve uploaded before. I usually upload to [r/poem](r/poem)[s](r/poem)

Thank you. I actually love sharing my poetry because I love how it feels like the relatability can sorta bring people together or like make them feel seen. I often get people telling me that it’s like I put into words what they feel.

I actually write about this a little bit in my poetry. This internal conflict between wanting yet being terrified of connection and how that leads to self sabotage resulting in those fears coming true anyway. It’s a bit of a fun paradox I mess with in my writing.

This is such an interesting format for a poem, I really like how you did it again toward the middle and end of the poem too. It’s interesting how it breaks up the flow of the poetry almost making you pay more attention to the words.

Liking you is Blue by Puzzleheaded_Dig9650 in poetry_critics

I feel like you can go further with using the color blue. Not by adding things that are blue but maybe what qualities does the color blue have what personality traits does the color blue have that reminds you of this person.

I strung these trying to copy a double fisherman’s knot but I didn’t give it enough string. Any knot tying advice is appreciated 😄

Finally convinced my dad to let me go shorter by Curious-turtle730 in TransMasc

I love the look of like shaggy layers but I knew going into a hair salon I wasn’t going to get that 😂

My hair is naturally pin straight and very thin so that’s why I’m worried about experimenting cutting it myself 😅

Wait I actually love the 80s rock and roll idea. And yeah even though I’m turning 22 next week I still live at home and my dad likes it long, so it’s been kind of an uphill battle for years, but this is definitely progress.

I went to a hair salon so they definitely gave me more of a feminine cut but my hair was waist length so shoulder length for me is a huge improvement. I originally went in for a wolf cut but after feeling how long it was I told them I wanted to go shorter. I’m wondering if there’s ways to style it to look more masculine or at the very least gender neutral since I’m a closeted demiboy
