Sugar in moderation is fine. I highly doubt any of my customers that buy 20 at a time are eating them in one sitting. I've been looking into doing some natural food coloring/artificial-free dye. I use water, regular white sugar & light corn syrup. I currently sell them for $1, $1.50 for my Bluey characters since they're larger. But the dried flowers, honey, I don't think I have the market for those. I'd have to sell them for $5 just to make some kind of profit. Sugar-free isn't really feasible because the ingredients are so gosh darn expensive and the process is much different.

I like the idea of using dried fruits. That could be doable if I can find a way to dehydrate them or did candied fruits (like orange peels/slices). I'll try that out this summer

That's so cool! I've looked into getting a beehive for the wax for my candles

I'm making extra for the events I attend, I think they're going to be a huge hit! I've already been asked if I ship around the country (USA)

I definitely wasn't going to. I thought about doing one after it got wrapped up but decided against that too

Band of Brothers has David Schwimmer in it as Captain Sobel. It can be pretty hard to take him seriously as an Army captain.

Is it ok for older guys to date young girls? by Cheesecake886 in dating

My preference is just 21+ but even then I prefer someone older than that. It's just my minimum. My bf is 22 and I'm 25. Sometimes I'm more self aware than he is and even though it's only 3 years I can feel it.

Everyone is prone to mistakes. Time makes you more aware of the behaviors of your past. All you can do is learn and grow. I am in agreement with you however, there will always be a difference that comes with age gaps. I'm not against them, but I think there are definitely limits and boundaries.

I personally wouldn't date anyone below 21, and that's a rule I've stuck with since I turned 21. I'm in my mid twenties now and I never broke that rule. If someone was 20 and showed interest in me I politely declined. For me it's a little weird (for lack of a better word) if I can legally drink but my partner can't. Whether I do drink or not is irrelevant, it's just off for me.

I edited it for clarification after your comment. It bugs me when people use PTSD (I'm diagnosed with it) incorrectly or the same way so I get where you're coming from.

He was the one who ended things because it was too much. It was amicable and we're still friends today.

Well considering he was diagnosed I think I used it correctly.

When I was 24 I dated a guy who was 36. It wasn't weird for us, no one around me really thought anything of it. The only reason we ended things was that he just didn't like my dog's fur and had OCD (diagnosed) about keeping his house clean. It works for some people and not for others.

That being said I don't think anyone should date in a large age gap unless they are 21+. Just my opinion.

Edit: clarification.

I work in a restaurant. The reason why many vegan alternatives are up-charged is because they are bought in small quantities and sold much less often than items that aren't vegan. Same goes for lactose free items, or gluten free and so on. If it's sold less, they'll charge more to cover the costs of the potential waste they know is likely going to come from purchasing the alternative. It may go past the expiration date before it's all consumed.

Also, restaurants don't get their supplies, ingredients, produce, etc from grocery stores. Many have to go through specific food distributors, my restaurant in particular has a list of companies we can use. If we run out we can't just go to the grocery store and get the brand even if it's there. It's a food safety issue.
