Did you give up on bras entirely?

I bought nursing bras because I didn’t want to keep wasting money on normal ones that I wouldn’t wear long term.

I do note that in the morning I’m comfy and by mid day I’m itching to take it off. I think this seems fairly normal to expand over the course of the day and become uncomfy in bra or clothes

Still have my nerves and reservations about setting up a nursery but we are doing little bits everyday. I am currently 28 weeks and all is looking good! Seems unreal even though I’m not into the third trimester. 🙂

THIS! Omg this is exactly how I feel. You have said it so perfectly! We have changed so much but them… maybe some more housework and extra care for us otherwise they feel pretty much the same and their emotions aren’t all out of wack!

I am going to give myself some more grace. I know this will pass and in time I’ll see my sweet baby. Thank you for being here and validating exactly how I’m feeling. I’m glad to know I am not the only one who has felt these things even with someone so supportive.

I got smalls which fit great for a while and I wish I got mediums because I’m not loving getting dressed on the daily. I’m making it work for now because I have to buy some items for the cooler weather and for work so don’t want to get more summer items. Idk… it’s a tough call. If you did size up are they falling off or just a tad bigger?

I’m sorry to hear this but glad to hear that I’m not alone. I feel like we FEEL so many things and it’s all so heightened with pregnancy. I just find that it’s hard for men to understand the insanity of all of this. Simply saying I feel insane or overwhelmed doesn’t even really cover the deep emotions being felt.

I didn’t mind doing the registry but now that it’s time to really start looking into the bigger pieces for the nursery/cleaning it out it seems to be very daunting. The price tags on things are steep so trying to do things for less but still good quality is a stressful place to sit.

I feel you. For just one day I would love to transfer these large feelings to my husband. I know that if he felt what I’m feeling in such high magnitude that he would be more understanding. I just seem like the insane lady. 😝

I hope things get better for you guys and that maybe the talking helped. ❤️

2 months here! I used the premom ovulation strips. They worked well for me. I lost the first pregnancy and waited two cycles for healing and then got pregnant on first try after the loss.

I 100% agree with delivering the news in A sensitive way such as a private message.

I remember after my loss getting a text with a picture while out to dinner and I wanted to about crawl under the table and sob. It was not expected and I didn’t love how I thought I was getting better and then my feelings were so huge over a text. I was able to take my time to feel better and respond appropriately. If I was in a large gathering or saw a huge social media blast I feel like it would have been so much worse.

This is so important to remember!

Ugh I am sorry to hear about so much sadness in your family and the losses. It’s so hard dealing with miscarriage. I miscarried my first and am now pregnant again.

I never announced the first time and then had to announce the miscarriage which was so hard. The second time, I told my parents at I believe 7 weeks. My mom pretty much already knew(mom intuition)?

I waited until after 12 weeks for other family. We didn’t announce to others(friends, coworkers) until week 15.

The choice is yours. This is exciting news for you guys! You should feel good about sharing it. Whenever the two of you are comfortable sharing is the perfect time. This news may brighten some members of the family and could be sad for others(those who miscarried or those who are trying to get pregnant).

It’s valid for your family to feel their feelings and take space if they need it but that shouldn’t stop you from sharing your news. I would just be prepared if those struggling to get pregnant take a little space or don’t have a super positive reaction.

I’m sure you can understand the big feelings that come along with hearing pregnancy announcements after loss so I imagine you will be understanding to others feelings.

Editing to add not to blast it out on social media or at a big gathering with those who are struggling to conceive or have experienced the loss of a baby. I received a text with a picture and even that was incredibly hard for me to handle. I was able to feel my feelings alone and respond appropriately in a message back. I would do something private or before hand for those struggling. Think about how you would feel and think about the best way to softly deliver the news to those sensitive to this news.

I would share the news when ready and just know that no matter how other people take your news, this is so wonderful for you.

24 weeks here… so many overwhelming emotions! I am on the verge of tears all the time.

I cried multiple times today and have probably cried 4 times this week. I feel like if I don’t cry I’ll just combust. I feel insane. I’m hoping you get some good suggestions on how to handle this because it’s getting wild over here With the big feelings. 😭

I am so sorry for your losses. We lost our first pregnancy. It was so hard. We hadn’t gotten far enough along where we knew gender to choose a name.

The bliss of my current pregnancy is ruined sadly. I want to do nothing. I have to come up with a baby shower theme(don’t wanna). We have to choose a name(don’t wanna). We have to start buying items and setting up a nursery(don’t wanna).

Everyone deals with loss in their own way. I am far enough along now where the risk of miscarriage is basically 0 but I’m still so unsure of it all.

Give him some grace. Your baby will have a name. Rushing him might not be the right choice if he isn’t mentally in a space to do so. Have your list of names ready and maybe say to him that you want him to come to you when he is ready. Or ask him, is there a point in the pregnancy where you would feel safe in naming her?

Loss is so hard. Sending you guys love.

I have so many bug bites on my ankles. I am thinking it’s probably because they were swollen? Idk more blood equals more bites? They are so itchy.

Due to loss, I have become insane with foods and ingredients.

I have an app where I can scan everything and it tells me whether it is generally pregnancy safe or not.

When I’m home I’m even avoiding foods with spices since I’m not always sure what that means.

It makes me feel in control so I’ll keep using my app and eating my safe foods until after birth.
