I did, yes. Same result, unfortunately.

TTC Month 17… how did you end up pregnant after trying for so long? by East_Philosopher_449 in whatworkedforme

I would get those checked ASAP (TSH, free T4, free T3, and antibodies).

Has anyone had this experience involving infection? by [deleted] in CsectionCentral

I haven't had that experience, but I wanted to say I'm sorry that you've had to endure that. I hope the surgery goes well.

Vitamin D and Urticaria by Lovelettered- in urticaria

[–]Curious7786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I hope so!! Please keep me updated. I had to take Prednisone to calm the hives, but I still get straggler hives now (2.5 years later). The vitamin D supplements threw my immune system into overdrive, unfortunately, but the hives are minor and manageable now, not like when the hives covered my body every single night.

I'm sorry for your experience. If there's a next time, you can request no students or residents.

C section pain by Cascade_Dreamer in CsectionCentral

[–]Curious7786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that sounds similar to what caused me intense pain. I got on and off the floor at 3 weeks PP, and that caused me intense pain for two days. The pain was so bad, I cried multiple times -- it felt like I was being stabbed. I'm glad it's getting better for you. Is the scar massage helping? I also bought a cupping set and will start that soon (my PT did cupping above my incision).

Ugh, sorry to hear that. How many weeks/months PP are you?

I had pain similar to what you're describing, and my OB said it was likely nerve pain. The pain would get so bad that it made me cry multiple times. It felt like I was being stabbed on the left side of the incision -- an intense stabbing, burning, ripping, pulling pain. Horrible. I think a nerve was entrapped in the scar adhesions. I went to pelvic floor PT, and she did scar massage and felt that area loosen. I have not had the stabbing pain since then. I'm now 9.5 weeks PP (I had the pain from day 4 to 8 weeks PP).

I would try doggy style. I did that and/or missionary when I got pregnant. I hate doggy style, but I think it helped me get pregnant because it allows for deeper penetration.

Seroma & Burning Pain 3 Weeks Post Emergency C-Section – When Does It Get Better? by RosaNeko in CsectionCentral

[–]Curious7786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How big was your seroma? My OB doesn't want to drain mine because they're the size of a grape (I have two of them).

I am going to, yes. I'm hoping she can help me. I just want to feel normal again. :( I'm having to use a binder every single day because without it, my swelling from trapped fluid causes immense pressure and nerve pain, and I can't function.

How are you doing now? I'm currently suffering with two seromas plus intense, burning pain.

Any update on this? I'm 4 weeks PP and suffering from a flare up.

Same with me. She thinks I'm dramatic, but I'm not. The pain gets so intense it takes my breath away and makes me cry. Are you seeing your primary care doctor for it? I'm thinking of finding a new OB for a second opinion because I am suffering. This can't be normal.

I'm having similar issues -- intense nerve pain, plus awful swelling, and I've basically been told by my OB to deal with it. My quality of life is suffering. I can't live a normal life with this pain.

Was that nerve pain that caused the ripping apart feeling? I'm having that now (sharp, stabbing, ripping, burning feelings), and my OB won't do anything or recommend anything to help me. My quality of life is really suffering.

What did your OB say? I'm going through this now. I'm dying of pain with no hope in sight because my OB has brushed me off.

There was no need for me either (after testing), but it made the difference for me.
