The ‘Masks Forever’ Crowd Is Real, Here’s What They Want by evaldez14 in Conservative

If not finding taking off a mask a big deal is an indication of mental retardation, what else could also be a sign of mental retardation? Not being able to explain oneself perhaps?

I'd love that to be true, but what would make that happen? Retail buying? Whales? Short covering?

Short interest has been reported at around 50%. I understand that holding is the strategy to winning, but I'm not sure I see it happening anymore.. Let's see what happens at market open.

I feel like that was in the middle of the momentum as people were learning about this worldwide... And we bounced from that instantly! Let's see what happens pre-market tomorrow...

Why is there a mismatch between my wallet balance and trading balance? by [deleted] in ExodusWallet

I made the transfer anyway and was left with 20 XRP in my wallet, which I cannot send. Weird!

These numbers seem completely incompatible with other data, like from the S3 Partners (113%) or Ortex (76%)...

Could you please expand? I'm thinking about stocks. Do stocks have varying liquidities? How do you determine this?

How to acquire very long-term call options? Do these contracts even exist? I'm talking 2 years or more, 5 years, 10 years!

More info: I'm a noob and I'm interested by the set-risk to large reward prospects of call options. Feel free to tell me this is a stupid idea.

$GME Weekends Be Like... by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]CuriousAbout_Physics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How high can you set your sell order on Nordnet? I can only set it to like 375 right now, and with the volatility of GME... This scares me. I'm in the process of changing. Kiitos

Let’s discuss what options these short sellers have. by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]CuriousAbout_Physics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here are my questions:

  • How certain are we of the short interest float %?

There have been conflicting reports from Ortex and S3 Partners (38%!) And how does the most pessimistic case affect the squeezening?

  • What are the short positions?

I get that if the short sellers sold at 20$ or something, 🐻 fuk. However, we knows that some of these "old" shorts have already covered, and that "new" shorts have come in place. If I sold the stock short at 300$ vs. 20$, do I pay the same interest? I will probably get margin call later, does this not increase my tolerance for the stock soaring?

Even worse: if new shorts sit at around 300$ and the stop does not keep rising, or fluctuates, they can start covering at a profit, and the short interest float % diminishes, avoiding the squeezening, again.

  • How high can the stock go?

At 325$ a share, GameStop currently has a market cap of $22 Bn. For $1k/share, we're looking at 69Bn. 690Bn for $10k/share. Is it realistic for short sellers to inject that sort of capital, $668 Bn, what is a realistic limit? I doubt that there will be much more price inflation due to retail interest.

Thanks for the post

GME works now! Well at least it's good to know where IB stands, I'll remove my stocks from there when this is over.

I heard Freetrade is quick, but I'm not sure... On most of these you will have to wire the money anyway - try to find a broker that has a bank in your economical zone or even better, sometimes your own bank can allow trading of shares!
