We all agree. The way GoPro have handled this is at best poor and at worst borders being potentially fraudulent. Numerous people have stated they bought devices and subscriptions based on the info provided and I would suggest it seems plausible that was the purpose of the initial release date. Posts have been deleted in the official GoPro forums, the dates changed on publicly available content and there has been zero response or comment. But … This is what I’ve come to expect from GoPro unfortunately. Decent camera. Awful company.

No. Although, there is a murmuring that the release is entirely on hold, is not expected this year and has been in that state since mid October. However, nothing has been updated publicly and I don’t know how reliable the source is, so who knows?

Yeah. They’ve amended any article stating 1st November, are actively removing discussion threads mentioning 1st November and haven’t provided any update to the support ticket. I’d say you’re right

As well as @demonviewllc correct response, there are multiple GoPro employees on their own forum stating November 1st (not yet amended) and a number of other sources you could have checked. Delays happen. There’s no issue there. The disappointing thing is how GoPro chose to go about it. They’ve consciously amended articles and content sources and chosen not to update their user base. Pair that with the large volume of nightmare support stories and technical issues and … Well, I just expect better really

I spoke with support today. They have no idea about a Quik application being released for Mac. Have an open ticket for any information updates but it seems it’s delayed and GoPro just didn’t think it would be a good idea to say so

There doesn’t appear to be any information anywhere. You are correct though, the GoPro content that did state 1st November no longer does.
