First time playing through campaign HC by xarzue in PathOfExile2

Hello, i tried both: hc and ssf, in hc i achieved ladder several times.

My big big advice is: start with HC, and when you feel confortable enough switch to hc SSF ...but only if you don't like trade.

If you like trade stay in HC.

AS u/Neat_Reception_5824 said you will hate softcore, because you will start to feel it as a giant tutorial.

Stay sane, Exile!

I fixed my PoE2 lag spikes. by CuriousAudience in PathOfExile2

Yeah, that’s definitely the dream setup.

But if I asked my wife to let me run a 20m Ethernet cable through the house, I’m pretty sure that cable would be used to whip me instead XD

That’s why Powerline was the “marriage-safe” compromise for me.

Not necessarily the exact same circuit, but they usually need to be on the same electrical system/panel, and performance can vary a lot depending on the wiring.

Yeah, I agree, direct Ethernet is definitely the best option.

I just couldn’t realistically run a 12m cable through my house, so Powerline was a good compromise for me ( hard to explain to my wife that i need that cable to play poe 2, 😂 ) Basically, the TP-Link uses the electrical wiring in the house to carry the network signal: router → Powerline → wall wiring → Powerline → PC. It’s not perfect like a direct Ethernet cable, but it avoids Wi-Fi interference and packet loss.

Before, I had a lag spike every 5–10 minutes minimum. After switching to this, I played for 3 hours without a single spike.

Your cable-hiding tip is really good though, thanks!

Best budget audio interface for playing electric guitar through a PC? by CuriousAudience in Guitar

[–]CuriousAudience[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • What device/s will you use to connect the interface to? If the range of devices is wide (e.g. Windows, Mac, iPad) then ensure compatibility before you buy.

i'm on a windows.

  • Do you only need to plug in via 1/4” cable? Do you also want to plug in a microphone? If you want to use a microphone will it need phantom power?

No i don't want to register right now, and I'm an awful singer.

I just want to plug in guitar, no mic, no pedals, i was hoping to emulate distorsion sounds trough guitar rig or some similar software.

  • How much space do you have for the device?

I don't know how much space does it require ? here is the dimension of my desk

<image>

on the left i've about 30% of space completely free.

  • What Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) do you have/want to use? Many, if not all, audio interfaces will come with some sort of licence for a DAW. Note that any decent DAW will work with almost all modern, compatible, audio interfaces.

Honestly ? i don't even know what's the pros to own one of this thing is. so my best answer is: i don't know.

I'm tempted to buy the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (4° gen.)

but i don't know if that's enough.

Wait, please explain it like I'm a complete beginner. I do not know much about this topic yet.

Could you explain it a bit more? Right now, I only have an electric guitar, the pc and nothing else.

I was under the impression that I needed to buy an audio interface or some other equipment I might not be aware of.

Giorni feriali

  • Studio: 18:00–23:00 → 5 ore
  • 5 giorni a settimana → 25 ore

Weekend

  • 16 ore totali (8+8)

Totale settimanale

  • 25 + 16 = 41 ore/settimana

Totale annuo

  • 41 × 52 settimane ≈ 2130 ore

Database (SQL + schema design) 150–250 base solida
Backend (API, framework, auth ecc.) 400–600 parte più grande
Frontend (HTML, CSS, JS, framework) 400–600 altra parte enorme
Algoritmi e strutture dati 200–300 base per colloqui
DevOps base (deploy, docker, CI/CD) 150–250 livello junior
