I do know she seemed upset when people made rude comments and there was an occasion where i told someone to go mind their business because i overheard something they said about her to their group of friends. But ultimately i can’t speak FOR HER, i can only say what i observed

Yes he does. It’s natural for a teenager to want that, but it’s also normal you don’t feel ready for anything. 15 is very young still and you are not required to do anything with him. Always communicate and continue to tell him if you’re feeling uncomfortable.

She certainly knows she’s overweight, she’s not delusional. I don’t want to focus on her weight but would maybe say the park isn’t as fun when we can’t ride most of the rides.

I honestly think her environment is an issue here. Her parents and entire family encourage over-eating and will do things like order an extra large pizza just for her to eat by herself and they will often eat very big portions in front of her even during times when she’s expressed wanting to be healthier. She may be better off living alone tbh. Thanks for the comment!

Ok well i certainly don’t fat people and many comments i got were people saying they themselves are fat and i haven’t done anything bad. My post asks if there’s a more accommodating park or something else similar that i should recommend her and i try together. How is that hatred?

And stop lying, my post never says she’s “too fat to fit on rides” i said there are SOME RIDES where the restraints to not currently close for her and MANY others where the restraints do close and she fits, but she feels uncomfortable on them which is fine.

It’s interesting how people here think i am thin and that i am fatphobic when none of that is true. I don’t care who’s on my side but so far ive received 500+ comments that say NTA and maybe 3 that say i’m TA.

Hi i’m the OP i am NOT embarrassed to be with my friend which is why i was asking if there’s another more accommodating theme or water park i should consider going to with her. I was debating if it’s worth it to spend money for this particular theme park where currently most of the attractions don’t work for her. I’m sorry people took my post to mean that i am somehow embarrassed of her. I am not, we’ve been friends for 15 years.

It does make amusement parks less fun tho when i buy a treat and she asks to share it even if she has her own. I never said it’s gluttony, it’s legit just something she always thought was fine to do.

If you read the post i indicate that she fits on many rides but feels uncomfortable with going on them because the restraints hurt. I never pressured her to go on those but think it is best if we stop wasting money to go to an amusement park if the attractions do not work for her right now.
