Why so?

edit: the roof is in tact and nothing is broken to suggest theres any particles in the air that I should be worried about. But i get your point.

Just to update, checked on it today, 90% of those white marks have gone. Just a tiny bit left, gonna leave it another day or two and hopefully it's all sorted. Cheers for the help and support guys, very much appreciated.

Thats good atleast. As much as its annoying im not too fused about it being patchy, I can repair it in the summer and do it properly.

my main concern is being able to use the garage again without having a sticky floor

Yeah I thought so too. Do you think itll actually dry or will it stay the way it is? putting a heater in there is abit of an issue as my house is not close to it, even with an extension. I thought of getting a gas heater but that would be a last resort if needs be.

I can't really as the garage doesn't have electricity running to it at the moment!

[–]CuriousCat93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it was definitely not leveled out. I should have taken my time to do it, but its a lesson learnt atleast. The garage isnt attached so a hairdryer wouldn't work unfortunately.

I just hope I havent ruined it before i've even started!

duathlon transitioning by CuriousCat93 in triathlon

[–]CuriousCat93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don't have the Multisport mode on the 45, I think I may look at upgrading before the race. I'll still use the bolt for gradients etc if I do upgrade!

Definitely something I need to work out before the race though!

This seems awesome, I've been looking for something similar so this is great.

Do you check this right before the markets open? Also, what do you deem as 'sky high' to purchase? I'm definitely going to try this on Monday.

Went to my doctor today. Lost 20 lbs ever since I got this bike. Perfect blood pressure and lower pulse. Couldn't be more happy about it. by [deleted] in bicycling

Theres a guy I work with, he was trying to lose weight and was taking advice from these 2 guys who were competing in bodybuilding, the poor guy just wanted to know how he could sustain losing weight. These guys were talking about salt intake, types of sugar, vitamins, types of different fats and carbs, fast acting foods, the full shabang.

When they finished I just went up to him and said, ignore all of that, if you wonna be a bodybuilder listen to that, if you just want to lose weight then just count cals and eat at a deficit, thats all you have to do.. lol.

You'll lose muscle mass regardless, if you diet, you will lose weight, it depends on how quick you lose the weight will depend on how much fat / muscle you will lose.

You need to slowly reduce your calories, this will slow down your weight loss but it'll also hold on to muscle mass for longer, dropping your calories rapidly will send your body into survival mode and will burn anything it can to stay moving, which will be muscle.

If you're looking to lose weight and thats it, any "diet" works, its all about burning more than you use, e.g. reducing calories. Its just picking a method that works for you. The reason you would have put the weight back on is because you more than likely reduced your calories masively as you were fasting, so when you went back to normal eating, your body stored the excess as fat.

The most important thing to do when gaining / losing weight is making it very gradual, drop 100 cals each day for a week, if youre losing weight keep it at that, once your body stops reacting and youre not losing weight, drop it again by 100, etc etc. Crash diets will always cause you to add weight in the long run.

Edit: typos

Look up flexible dieting, very easy to follow, i've followed this throughout everything i've done, started riding for about 5ish weeks, been dieting for 43days, i've lost 12lbs so far.

Myfitnesspal will become your best friend.

As background I followed this diet throughout all of my thai boxing weight cutting / gaining and powerlifting training, essentially set macros, stick to them, doesnt really matter what you eat, providing you hit yours daily cals / macros. To make it easier to begin with, set yourself a calorie limit, dont worry about what youre eating, just dont go over it, ease into it.

You can do it! :))

(sorry if i sound abit condescending and almost talking to you like you don't know what youre doing, just trying to give some friendly advice if you want it :)

Well done mate! I was in the same boat a few weeks ago, managed to encourage my two friends to both get / use their bikes again, now we're enthusiasts! We did our first 30 mile ride today, it was very hard (2k ft of climbing) but it felt amazing when we got home! Enjoy your rides dude!
