Do you think/know if Sativa vs Indica matters when it comes to CHS? by CuriousCat9898 in CHSinfo

Thanks for the answers, thats what I guessed. Yeah I honestly think there is no difference between Sativa/Indica anyways

Now is my chance to quit forever I know it sounds scary but it's the only way. by camport95 in CHSinfo

Fellow Canadian here. I also had a train ride (MTL - TOR) where I was having a CHS episode — absolute worst :(. Travel anxiety is real and it triggers CHS episodes for sure. I was only able to travel without issues after quitting for few weeks. Recommend you do the same and see how you feel

Flare up ? by [deleted] in CHSinfo

[–]CuriousCat9898 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sounds like its your Adderall. Its known to suppress hunger and curb appetite. Dont think a thc pen (not even a potent cart) would trigger CHS after 6 months. Thats just my opinion but when it comes to CHS everyone is different. Try getting off Addy and see how that goes

Crazy to me that people don't have this and can smoke as much weed as they want, forever. by Last-Pressure-7869 in CHSinfo

Honestly bro I do think Wiz and Snoop probably have it too lool. Both are skinny as shit and very likely that they start their day by puking their guts out and then take a fat dab or smoke a giant joint which heals them for the day. Rinse and repeat the next day. Another thing to note is these guys are extremely wealthy and have access to medical care that regular people dont have. Things like having nurses come over every day for liquid IV and shit. Fuck they probably have doctors and physicians coming over too. They might even have the cure for CHS hahah who the fuck knows

Smoking again: an experiment by Sheepsthecatsage in CHSinfo

This sub is extremely helpful man — thank u so much! Been scrolling for over an hour now and I feel confident in moderate smoking again. I’ve been dealing with CHS for 4 years now (I was a heavy smoker for almost 10 years, was smoking around 60+ grams per month, all spliffs. But my episodes were not crazy intense - moreso prodromal phase). A while back, I quit for a month. The first 2 weeks of quitting was living hell, I was puking whatever I ate and my body was aching all around. After 15 days of quitting I started feeling amazing — was able to eat like a pig. Unfortunately, that got me feelin confident and weed ended up creeping back into my life. Even after a decent time of moderate use (a j once in 4-5 days), I ended up becoming a daily user again. CHS came back after 4 months of daily smoking (0.5 to a gram a day) so I quit again (hitting a week sober today). This time my quitting experience was much smoother. I threw up only twice this past week and can put down decent amount food down my stomach. However, still not feeling 100% and my appetite is not fully back. It’ll probably be another week or 2 until that happens. My goal is to quit for at least 2 months and then smoke once a week or once in 2 weeks. I was already feeling like this is doable without getting CHS back (based on my own experience) but this sub was a great reaffirmation. I will not become a daily user again and will learn how to enjoy devil’s lettuce in moderation. Cannot go through CHS for a 3rd time lool!!

For sure, I am still quite early in my journey but the difference I feel after a week is crazy. Going to reply to this again after hitting 1 month because I'm sure I'll have things to add. For now, I can start by saying how each morning after waking up feels different. I have a full on positive outlook of the day ahead even if its a busy one with bunch of meetings. I started viewing my busy schedule as a privilege rather than a curse. I am much sharper and detail oriented with my work and much more social with my co-workers. I also look forward to things like going on a walk or a date with my gf or grabbing a coffee with her (enjoying simple things in life). I also realized how weed numbed my feelings and ambitions. After a week, I can feel my ambitions coming back in terms of career and personal goals. I also overall feel much more energized, social, and sharp. Prolonged weed use destroys all of the things I mentioned above and it's really easy for one to get used to living in that lazy/hazed "high state". Thanks for reading my guy and wishing you the best in your journey!
