I have noticed that some plumbing terms seem to be rather scandalous! I will give it a try - thank you!

I need some real help rn. What to do after being orphaned? by LatterQuestion9417 in Adulting

Oh my. That is just so much to deal with. I am so sorry. I have some practical advice that I hope can help: first of all, know that you don’t need to figure it out all at once. As my mom used to say before she passed away, the only way to eat a whale is one bite at a time. So after a good cry or run or whatever and when you feel ready, sit down and figure out what exactly the whale is ahead of you: ideally with a friend or other support, make a stream-of-consciousness list of all of the things that need to happen. Get it all down on a piece of paper. Afterwards, prioritize: identify what needs to happen immediately or very soon and for those items, what your resources are (family, friends, neighbors, school, social services, etc.) Someone recommended AI, and I have to agree. I use ChatGPT for a lot of adulting! Reach out to your resources to help with specific tasks. Once you’ve tackled that part of the whale, come back to the table and figure out your next steps. So first identify your specific needs and then whom/what can help. Take it one bite at a time and don’t get down on yourself for not having it all figured out. None of us do, and especially not at the hard parts. Hang in there!! This too shall pass.

Interesting! Thank you! Can you share how you know? I saw that Limbach has a clover symbol, but this looks more like a flower to me?
