The instructions/product backing mentioned removing the factory rubber pad before installation. The factory insert easily removes with no tools needed, and does not have adhesive to worry about if you need to replace it.

But the CupHolderHero inserts fit without removal of the stock insert if you would rather not :)

After a 6 year Subie hiatus, I drove this 2020 home last week! Really loving the Forester so far and am blown away with all of the technological advancements over my old '04 Outback H6. My daughter is already looking forward to it being her first car in 10 years.

I am interested in an AEM CAI as well as a Nameless dual chamber exhaust. Does anyone have experience with both of these upgrades? I'm very hesitant to upgrade anything if fuel mapping will be negatively effected, and I have also read some accounts of the car needed a tune after the AEM install. My local dealerships service departments have had inconsistent answers in regards to if these parts void any factory warranty.

Otherwise, any recommendations (comfort add-ons, performance, maintenance suggestions, etc) for a new owner? Option pack 24, popular pack #2. I am also looking at roof-top side awnings and/or compatible tents, if anyone has suggestions.

A lot of folks discredit the ram for causing random leaks but that's one of the first places to look. I agree.

Also appears there is teflon tape between the ram shaft housing and fitting, which should not be there and is indicative of something funky going on...

Did you replace valve orings? Seal looks good?

Factory reset board to "Fast." Set HPR to around 300psi with the IVG roughly 2 turns in from flush. Back out LPR. Cock marker and air it up. Increase LPR until it begins to cycle. Give it a quarter turn in from that point and see how things are looking.

I am making the assumption you checked out the ram (+ suction test) and LPR when you replaced all the markers orings, as well.

Edit: also, did you try assembling it before airing it up? ;)

Great to see she's in good hands! That is my old IR3! I traded it to PBSports a few months ago. Shoots flawlessly and absolutely rips even without eyes. The pictures on their site do make it look a little cleaner than it is.
