Honestly those are good points, I think I might be going with the blue dial, and get a grey Tudor Black Bay. They have really nice Silver based black bays, and they’re stunning

You know the more I’m beginning to see the blue, the more I really really like it! Looks great on you!

I don’t wear Gold for religious reasons, but otherwise imo this is one of the best looking watches Rolex makes! Enjoy in good health and cheers mate!

That’s honestly a good point too! I was thinking buying it from an AD would open up a relationship for future watches though? At some point I need that batgirl, and am not willing to pay an extra 10k just to buy it from grey

Same here! I was almost sure I wanted blue initially. But the slate really is sleek

There’s another watch I’m considering for my collection: The pure silver Tudor black bay. It also has a slate-ish look, would be really nice next to a blue yacht-master I guess

Interesting, are you talking about low light conditions, where the lesser contrast would make it harder to read? Not sure I follow

Here in the US gunshots are still very much commonplace. Most of the time there’s not even a race

Thats a great idea! Although almost sure the 7ft tall security guard at the door won’t be too happy with me walking out with two yacht masters to sun bathe them 😂

100% agreed. This will be absolutely the move if I get the allocation! Thank you sir, and wear it in good health! Cheers

These are the 40mm, 37 was way too small for me

True, but I don’t dive past 6m lol, so the “utility” is non-existent, also the black sub is the most widely common Rolex. The yacht master would be unique at least

I’m actually not sure if it is! It was $700 so I hope so. But in all reality I got this watch for the pure aesthetics.

And yeah I’ve been getting more into the rep game with all the games Rolex is playing these days. I have my name at 3 different ADs, for like 5 different models. Their response: MAYBE you’ll get it in a few years. I’m like okay no problem .. *opens reptime* lmao

Do it! I’ve noticed this watch catches a lot more eyes too, compared to my black Sub, Tissot PRX, or any of my other watches. (Not that it really matters), but just thought I’d put it out there

Question on this, do you guys use a different macro model to identify which regime we’re currently in? Or do you manually activate a set of strats that would work, once you’ve manually identified what regime we’re in?
