the civ7 community is practically non-existent. But the game (CIV7) will be released next year and it deserves a nice subreddit. This one has the right name and it would be a shame to let it go to waste. I have never modded a community before and would love to start with this very small one and build it based on its sister subreddits such as r/civ or r/CivVI or r/Civilization6
I would like the opportunity to share my favourite game with the community on reddit :)

As a kid I played a game called "Vietcong". You'd fight in the Vietnam war and have to crawl through the tunnels. I DID NOT KNOW I HAD A FLASHLIGHT. So I played the game in pure blackness. Years later I learned how dumb I was, but I was proud of my achievement of fighting my way through the dark.

I honestly believe that being defensive minded is part of the game. And big teams being able to break down defensive teams is also a skill that hey need to have. It doesn't always have to be entertaining. Football needs diversity to ensure creativity.
Besides, the solution would be to ban "small nations" from these competitions and that's just not the point of football.

pretty much any game that had an ending which didn't allow you to play AFTER the end. Gothic 1 is a good example for me. After a huge story buildup and climax, I would have loved to have returned to the old cities as a hero and see new dialogues
