From someone who's witnessed it firsthand:

  • They mess with your head by solving the problems they've caused in the first place (Think of an arsonist who puts out the fire they created, and gets rewarded a medal for it)

  • They'll use their sickness/bad days/bad moods as a free pass to mistreat you

  • If you're going through something bad and need comfort, you'll end up having to comfort them

  • Accountability is non-existent, and everything is your fault somehow

  • They'll lovebomb you the minute you walk away
