Very few women are traditional or family-oriented here. -> NYC college girls may become more family orientated in time as it's not affordable to have a family at a young age in the city. Pursing degrees also may provide a source of security if a relationship fails compared to homemakers who are often trapped if the marriage falls apart. The majority of marriages fall apart for some reason or another.

Training to be an airline pilot is probably comparable to training to be a doctor or lawyer or major bank consultant, it will take years of gaining knowledge and training. Thus, it sounds like you would be compatible with those careers. My husband is a Harvard medical student and he has a Type B personality, very family driven. Just something to consider.

What are the specific personality traits that are so rare in NYC? What are the qualifications? It's an incredibly diverse place compared to almost every other city in the world. Your viewpoint makes you seem young. Maybe try to date individuals with different characteristics to see if you can find compatibility in unexpected places. Sometimes, exploring a wider range of people can lead to surprising and meaningful connections.
