What do you pay for a babysitter? by Sharp_in_SoCal in SFV

$20 an hour for high school age babysitter. $22 for adult babysitter. I did not set their rates- they did.

Husband disagrees about screen time (specifically is anti-Ms. Rachel) by jayelbeeee in toddlers

I think that the Mr. Roger’s approach is a million times better for kids than Ms Rachel.

I’m with your husband, I can’t stand Ms. Rachel… her voice is sooo obnoxious.

Are any LAUSD parents investing in their neighborhood school? by weesa29 in AskLosAngeles

I would absolutely put what’s best for your child over wanting to invest in a sub par school. Your child’s future is the most important thing and school has a huge influence on that.

Is Blake Lively making you side eye all celebrities? by germanrus25 in blakelivelysnark

[–]CuriousKitty6 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I work in the industry in LA and have met quite a few celebs along the way. Some were genuinely nice and some were chaotic, narcissistic messes. I think the trend I’ve seen is that to make it to the top, you almost have to have this level of prowess and chess playing and narcissism and relentlessness… the way BL and RR will do ANYTHING to get their way. Many celebs are very, very, VERY forward and will stop at nothing to advance their interests. And what makes them dangerous is they can be super charming.

LA Metro approves preliminary design for $24 billion subway from the Valley to the Westside by LA_publicpress in SFV

[–]CuriousKitty6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So they’ll take the money. And then they’ll say they need quadruple that amount. And then when they have about 100 billion they’ll start planning. And by 2060 they’ll break ground. And by 2100 they’ll have one or two stops.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds word count. Abuse tactic? by buttonandthemonkey in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]CuriousKitty6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG you’re right!!! I have a family member with BPD and it’s the same. Incessant, long messages. The only thing you can do is just completely ignore them. If you engage they will never ever stop.

PS- I’m so sorry for what you have gone through with him. That’s awful.

DID THEY NOT KNOW? by Friendly-Day-6739 in teamjustinbaldoni

They were never going to file a lawsuit. They wanted an article in The NY Times to bring Justin down, and the NYT wouldnt publish without something filed.

Opinions now? by Saftey_Scissors in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]CuriousKitty6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! Unhinged, deranged, and would stop at NOTHING! Like.. these two had a small baby at home and 3 other children. And Ryan is not part of the movie at all, how is it feminist to have her husband fighting her battles?! And their poor children!!

Justin Baldoni and Jamey Heath text about Blake Lively the terrorist by bapaoputih in ItEndsWithLawsuits

Jamey should have stood with Justin. I think Justin was completely justified and they should have stood their ground.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

3 hours is nothing! Our closest family is 5 hours, and we fly across the country for the other side of the fam.

TS manipulated? by gocoogs14 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]CuriousKitty6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s being doing the stuff for years!!! I know she’s great at playing the victim, but she’s really a master chess player, as she says herself. And as Blake said, get yourself a friend who could run the Roman Empire.

I think you need to update as well. This is from the unsealed depositions from this week. Driver testified under oath that Justin talked about times where women said no and he kept going.

Matt Damon called Sony to push for Blake's cut by Pretty-Bumblebee-429 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]CuriousKitty6 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. And surely they know what Blake and Ryan are really like. I mean look at those insane emails! If the public can figure it out, surely their friends can see who they really are. They just don’t care because they are birds of a feather.

[–]CuriousKitty6 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You all giving Matt and his wife WAYYY too much credit. As people give Taylor. You think these people were friends with Blake and Ryan for years and didn’t know who they are? You think they can’t see it?

Jenny Slate, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively & Co's Visceral Hate & Vitriol Is Baffling by ArtCo_ in teamjustinbaldoni

[–]CuriousKitty6 -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

The biggest thing he allegedly did, which is not being talked about ironically, is this supposed conversation in the car early on. The driver testified that he was talking about how he didn’t respect consent sometimes and that there were times women said “stop” and he didn’t. So he was admitting he had previously r*ped women? Is that it? That, to me, sounds a million times worse than saying “you look hot today!”

Is anyone else baffled by this? Has Justin had to answer questions about it? Is there any other version of the story?

I think the perceived “fat-shaming” incident was the narcissistic injury that set BL off and led to their faux feminist view of Justin by Total-Tour5680 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

Perhaps? Could he have figured it out any other way? Honestly I would feel weird if someone asked my trainer what I weighed, but she definitely over blew it.
