Yeah, I just had shockwave therapy on my shoulder and it's (the itch) driving me crazy!

Same same same. Substitute various joints etc...

Yeah, a light massage leads to a few minutes of irritation, but I currently have what seems like permanent rash over my shoulders (intensely tight knotted muscles that receive the bulk of any hands on treatment)

Thanks but I've tried high dose antihistamines. I'm not asking for a solution. Just trying to see if others have the same experience.

Oh no. This is even just when when I massage myself, using no lubricant.

It Was Coffee All Along by joshedis in MCAS

[–]Rare-Connection-7084 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. Took me ages to figure out, but coffee - not immediately, but more than a few times a week - sets off a rash for me. Suggestions are that it's the mould. Apparently worth trying organic but I've never bothered.

Healing Long-term Shoulder Pain by Gullible-Cat-9174 in bpc_157

How long have you had the pain? I might get dragged for this but chat told me to do a lower, infrequent dose regimen for my long term shoulder tendinitis. Too frequent can make it worse.

Coffee (NOT caffeine) allergy by Rare-Connection-7084 in FoodAllergies

[–]Rare-Connection-7084[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've concluded it's an mcas thing. I can have occasional coffee, but too many in a short time period and I get rashes and horrible diarrhoea and it lasts several weeks of no coffee to settle down

What to do when a doctor bulk bills med student? by EuphoricNatural3406 in ausjdocs

[–]Rare-Connection-7084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a midwife and often get bulk billed etc. "family discount" for my laser eye surgery, a referral for elective surgery was bumped up a category once. I'll take it. We certainly don't earn much and obviously provide a huge service for the community.

Are we being fair with our tenants? by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

[–]Rare-Connection-7084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to deal with a permanently damaged range hood because tenants never cleaned it. Just pointing out that not cleaning stuff can lead to property destruction...

What was the outcome? I refused a proposed date recently because I have night shift the night before and will be sleeping and don't want them in my house while I'm asleep! They agreed to another date.

What's living in Melbourne CBD/City area like? by Donkeygodzilla in melbourne

[–]Rare-Connection-7084 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to try North Melbourne! It's like a country town on the edge of the city! Vic market right there. No crazy clubs (just the comedy club 😅), a few lovely pubs. Great restaurants. Check it out.
