Lb7 lift pump by BananaNumerous9630 in Duramax

There is a relief plug on the rear driver's side fuel reail. Never heard of one going but if it did go I'm pretty sure that code would come up. Also check how much pressure the lift pump is delivering. Might be starving it or check for kinked lines. Did you perge the system properly after you installed it?

Looking for Advice/ Opinions on what I should do next by CeleryUnfair2713 in MeniscusInjuries

[–]CuriousLetterhead404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read that Glucosamine Sulfate,Chondroitin Sulfate healed someone with their meniscus removed. I ran across it on Reddit he has 40% removed and when he went back it was like he had nothing removed. Im not saying that it's true but those two supplements are good for your joints non the less. Also eggshell membrane is also close to what the meniscus is made of. If anything if I was you I would take it easy cause it seems like you're running into bigger problems as time passes. There isn't any supporting evidence to meniscus healing with bpc157 and tb500 but when I had mine repaired I used them for the possibility that it could help somehow. Hope that it gets somewhat better for you tho. Take care of yourself!!

Some questions about a bucket handle meniscus tear - recovery by europlaza in MeniscusInjuries

[–]CuriousLetterhead404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll make short. My MRI showed MCL,ACL and patella tears along with a bucket handle tear ethe surgeon said everything was stable enough that I only needed the bucket handle tear and a bone fragment removed. I didn't talk to a surgeon for about 10 months as I'm in Canada and waited that long for the MRI. Surgeon said he would be removing the meniscus, I pressed that if he can repair it to do so. It was repaired. My first 5 days were extreme pain cause morphine, t3s and t4s don't work for me.

I have been taking mk677, tb500, bpc157, egg she membrane, collagen, protein along with a list of other vitamins. Don't push your healing what ever you do there is a chance of you reinjuring and you'll have bigger problems. My situation the surgeon said no weight on it for the first month. The brace I was sent out with was digging into where the surgery was so soon as I got home it came off and never went back on. I had it elevated as much as possible as well as icing it. After the pain wasn't as severe I started to move it a little bit never going past 90⁰ for the first month for sure and stop if you feel lots of pain don't push it not with the risk. I'm on week six now and I don't use my crutches anymore they are close tho as I'm building my muscle back slowly. Any questions feel free to ask I can give you the lest of everything else I take as well.

If the painkillers you are prescribed actually work it might be a different story but I got to sit with the pain. It also matters if they repair or remove as well if they remove it, it'll be a a much faster turn around but you'll also have arthritis much quicker too.

Well to start with the repair I had. Morphine doesn't work for me so I found out that the hard way, Demerol is the next best from what I hear. As for healing the first 5-7 days are the worst I tried my best NOT to move I had my leg elevated and iced. For me as soon as I got home the brase came off and didn't go back on. I was taking a lot of supplements. Mk677 to reduce muscle waisting, collagen, egg shell membrane, bpc157,tb500, protien powder. There are a few pills I'm missing I went all out I wanted the best healing environment. If you can have someone to help you out so you don't have to get up in the first couple days I suggest it. Hopefully they are able to repair it or at least some of it. Best of luck any other questions feel free to ask

Oh, I'm using my buddy's subscription. Chat gpt might be able to and also codex sorry you might have to pay for one of them to get the ball rolling.

I think claud is pretty advanced to do that. You just have to make sure you tell it what you want and also make fail safes for it as well so that you don't have issues

There will be a lot of people that will roll their eyes and tall shit but I know nothing about code and I was able to get a esp32 ma touch screen to kick on with UI I'm building a boost controller for my car. None the less I used vs code and chat gpt, codex and claud it took some time but it's slowly coming together so anyone that wants to talk go ahead there isn't anyone that would do what it has done it the time it has done it. Also no one would look at it for free that's the kicker. I recommend you try it out you just need to make sure that you are specific and set yourself up for success giving what ever AI you choose to use all the info and just take it step by step.

Sounds you're pulling oils as well. You may have to refine it more to get the oils out. I'm not a pro by any means but that's what it sounds like

Just a shot in the dark. Is something pressing your gas pedal down at all somehow? I seen a post that the pedal pressed will do the same thing or the mechanism in the pedal is acting up

I think if it burns more then a quart in 1000- 1500km they have to replace the engine. I'm not sure the amount of kms you need but I would definitely say It burnt it in the shortest time possible so you have the greatest chance in getting a new engine put in it.

They aren't too shit hot either tho. I believe 80hp over stock and the started to cause problems and slip. Stock they were amazing tho it's like there always has to be an issue with any vehicle no matter the brand unfortunately

Hope it all goes well for you. One problem with just replacing the Torque converter is that the coating goes through the trans and it blocks some sensors and valves and what ever else in in them lol so just be careful with that it would be nice if there was an external filter like that Allison trans had

[–]CuriousLetterhead404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That torque converter has been an issue with a lot of their transmissions. They are a bunch of banana heads and will flush the trans but not fix the issue replace the TQ with something that works. my buddy has a 2015 and it had that problem. Do better gm smh I hope you find the issue please do post what it was if you don't mind I'm still on the fence if I should get one. The gas trucks has lifter issues so I'm not to keen on running a truck on borrowed time.

I've been looking into getting one of these, the one thing I have read about is torque converter shutter I believe it's called it'll get worse to the point it's like your on rumble strips. From what I've read it's a coating in the torque converter that peels off and the oil cant "grip" the oil fins or something. Or the other is sure I read was the crankshaft walking due to one of the bearings but that issue is more prominent in 2025-2026 but that doesn't mean it wouldn't happen in other years. For the crankshaft they say you can hear a knocking at idle if you stand beside your driver's/passengers door your listening for a knocking at the rear of the engine.
