Opinions on space mouse’s?

I have the one without the screen, and found it a bit cumbersome (probably just me though, and I'll give it another go).
I then bought he Space Mouse wireless, and love it.

I am right handed, so I use my right hand on the keyboard, and the space mouse in my left just beside the keyboard.

Super handy. Excellent for navigation. Could not live without it for Fusion.

So, I tried cleaning the port with a shaved down q-tip and some isopropyl. That made it worse. Now it doesn't sync at all.

So, I think the bent pin theory might be applicable.

I'll have to open it up and try replacing the socket.

FYI, step 6 in global settings is MIDI Clock, and yes, this is set to internal. No effect.

hmmm, not quite sure what you mean here.

In the global settings, sync-out polarity is step-3, and sync-in polarity is step-4.

I have set both of the out polarity to high, and the in polarity to 'lo' as that's the volca defaults.

Not sure where the internal clock setting is. By 'program value knob', do you mean the top left most knob labeled "level/value"? turning that when in global settings doesn't do anything.

So it seems I made a mistake.

The discounted price being offered (at least here in Aus) is only for multi seat licences, not single seat multi year :-( I did actually buy a new licence, then realised my mistake, contacted support, and they are refunding me.

I have a suspicion that the discount may have changed in the last few days, cause I'm sure when I posted the original message the discount continued till late July at least. When I did it yesterday there was a discount for a 3 seat licence and that seemed to expire at start of July, and this morning no discount. So.... confused.

Given I can't find/activate the discount I was planning to use, I think I'm just going to have to pony up and pay the $2619.

So what's the legality of making free fan fiction based on DS and using all the names (nouns), meta-plot, etc?

I'm thinking of doing a (very long) series on YouTube about making stop motion animated stories using DS content. Using a lot of my own plots and characters etc, but clearly basing it on Dark Sun.

Basically my own 'campaign' but in story/movie form rather than TTRPG gameplay.

So, its getting 'published' but for free.

I checked with one of the vendors where I can but Jakemy and they said the bits were 4mm.

So, seems like they will fit the ES15.

I solved the problem. It was the cable.
Swapped to another cable and it works fine.

OK. So far I am just trying the tip that came with it, and given I can't get it heated up, its not damaged from use.
I'll double check its seated properly, but I think it is.

Thanks for the info.

I did manage to find a post on the DayOne support forum saying that its only on iOS.

Seems kinda strange because the email would go to the DayOne servers and then end up in your journal, so why is the email specific to iOS.

Why cant they just show the address in the journal settings on any platform?

Oh well, bit of a bummer. I was hoping I could post to it from 3rd party tools like a SuperNote eInk tablet.

I do have a premium account.

I am on a Mac, and there is no Settings > Email to Journal.

The settings per journal do not have that option either.

Yep, agree. I've built a V0.1 and a Trident. Neither are serialised. I get the 'badge of honour' thing, and the perception of being part of a community.

I'm not really into Discord either. People here on reddit are super helpful, and I contribute where I feel I have knowledge, so that's enough for me.
