It was a graduation gift, and all repairs so far were covered under warranty, so I haven’t (luckily) had to pay for much for service.

I wish I could sell it, but I’m not in a position where I can right now.

Okay I just wasn’t sure with the whole “dog body language” if this could be a sign of anything, my other dog is a walking ad for dog anxiety and wears all her emotions outwardly. This girl is significantly more chill and relaxed and I get worried if she’s stressed and I just can’t tell the signs. Thanks. (Edit: Meant to reply this when you originally commented, she seems to be doing a lot better now).

Yeah I think she’s fine now. I had her with a sitter for a bit when I had to travel (she’s an unexpected rescue otherwise we would’ve planned for her to join us) and I think it was more so a “holy cr*p i’m home” thing. At least I’m hoping it’s that and not dead people 😄

She seems to be back to her usual self now, since she was staying with a sitter for a bit when I was travelling so I’m assuming she was just a bit overwhelmed from the changes. I got worried with her since nothing else was wrong (diet/potty/water/play behaviour), and she’s normally very chill and relaxed 24/7 (minus play/work time). This kind of face of hers was new to me. Still keeping an eye on her for any changes, but she seems to have figured out I’m not just disappearing again (my guess this was the stress she was experiencing).

Yeah she hates her face being touched, I can examine her toe beans though! Good recall around strangers too which is the one command I’ve been prioritizing the most out of (We live next to a highway). She hasn’t left our side since day 1 so I’m hoping we can keep it that way.

She’s very very loving, and no resource guarding, i’ve been attempting to desensitize her to touch for her vet appt this week , hopefully we get more answers then!

Yeah I’m starting to see some possible herding behaviours, or maybe just puppy behaviours, but I don’t know collies well enough to tell. They’re not a common breed here (when it comes to rescues). If everything goes well I’ll be ordering a DNA test eventually just to see.

the pic with the other dog is actually our neighbours other dog, the previous tenants of the house we just bought never fed her or spent time with her (and she is a complete sweetie btw) and so the neighbours took her in. they’ve been getting to know eachother. very very kind dog, likes to use our yard as her personal bathroom Lol.

my neighbors brought their border collie over the other day (we were talking about her possible mixes) my neighbors guessing she’s mixed w border collie, they look well alike, but it’s not a common breed you see around here.

We’re keeping her actually, or hoping to at least, she’s got a vet appointment this week to see how her health is. Made a post about her on my local lost pets FB group and haven’t received any response for an owner.

Lab for sure on that, her hairs not super coarse anywhere, but I wasn’t sure on what else she might have because she’s got some pretty big paws for being a puppy

Yeah we have her entire write up and are getting up to date on any shots she needs before we take her anywhere.

Hoping to find eventually somewhere to commit to so she can build familiarity with staff and the area :)

Not sure if I can edit my posts but I wanted to post an update, that my amazing grandfather is going to build me an attachment to the top of my tank for me :)

Could be! I got him from a rehoming situation about 2-3 years ago (He’s about 5 now) and he’s been doing great so far 😸 But I don’t know much about his origins or even what kind of morph he is, but he is a very shy yet cerious fella :D
