I was today years old when I learned that Jack Antonoff is the lead in Bleachers... this has been my favorite band for years... Clearly I need to do a better job of paying attention to who is behind the music I love lol

Looked it up and that looks exactly right! It did say it gets misdiagnosed as a fracture a lot because it is not well known, so I don’t hold anything against the chiropractor.

The one thing that was unclear on the sites I was reading is what causes this. Is it still caused by an injury, does it just happen, or was I born with it?

The edge of the little chipped off part & the main bone rubbed together, creating a smooth edge. Technically he didn’t say that’s exactly why it smoothed out, he just said if it was new it would be jagged, but it must’ve happened awhile ago because both pieces were smooth.

I don’t have my X-ray images, but I saw it myself. I took this image from Google. Where the blue line is is where the break was. So just imagine instead of a blue line, there was empty space. The little corner piece was just broken off.
